and yeah, it makes sense getting it if only cos it's the one thing that every league fan has in their power to protect the 2022 nrl season. you never know what's going to happen down the road and if most people are vaccinated the govt won bring in lockdowns or postpone the comp

We had the comp without a vaccine. They could do it again.

if we get another outbreak of covid here govts will bring in some form of lockdown. the bigger the outbreak, the more severe the lockdown. if the outbreak is big enough we'll go back to having a comp without crowds. if it gets worse they might suspend the comp like they did last year. worst case scenario cancellation is possible - they did it in india with the ipl. not saying all of that is going to happen but it seems silly to gamble on it not happening when we have a chance to take covid out of the equation.
