There's a restaurant in California called Basilico's Pasta E Vino where the owner Tony Roman only allows unvaccinated customers!! You got to show him proof you are unvaccinated before being let in.

Its why im for a unrestricted opening...if you have people having to show their vaccination status the nutcases come out-on both sides. Peoples vaccination status should be kept private

I said this to someone I work with yesterday who is very upset because she cannot be vaccinated on medical grounds too for a different condition to mine and was feeling isolated, not because she wants the vaccination but because she was called an anti-vaxxer/tin foil hat wearer (not by someone we work with). Her friend has the same condition, had one vaccination and is now on a waiting list for surgery as she became extremely unwell after having it. I said to her I long for the days when people were not allowed to access the medical records of others. If anyone walked into my doctor's surgery and requested to see what was in my file, they'd be of course be told to take a hike. I remember when people would say, "Hello how are you?" Now for some it's "Have you had your jab yet?????????"

It's just bad manners to be honest and very intrusive.

Hello you asked me a question yesterday and I fail to see how I can answer your question properly without the relevant information . So with respect to you the only reply I have is would the vaccination do you more harm than if you were to get a dose of Covid 19 . Not sure of your age or health issues which would also needed to be taken into account . The choice is of course yours as it is everyone's but with that choice there is and may be consequences. But please research as much as possible and I mean research not internet chat site such as this . There is a thing called long covid . Its a real thing and effects many organs of the body and some research is indicating it may be lifelong so again my advice would be if you can take the vaccine please do

I don’t have an educated answer to refute the general medical advice on how to fix this and I certainly won’t be taking advice from hacks like Pete Evans but unless we are all in it together, this will take a long time to fix. That’s the bad thing about social media because uneducated people take advice from influencers who really don’t have a clue and their source is usually from some individual who wants to make a name for themselves. That’s my take and I will vaccinate and do the hard yards here in sunny QLD.

Good for you. I was just reading the uptake up there is very low. If it doesn’t improve significantly in the next 10 months I would expect sOmewhere in QLD to get a turn to experience the joys of an extended lockdown like Sydney and Victoria have.

Earlier in this thread I already stated that for me it's not a choice but under medical advice given to me by my GP who works closely with 2 professors, one of them very well known, and the other who looked after me during a long illness. I fail to see where I have told you to get vaccinated , .I did say that was my advice .As I said it's yours and everyone's choice. Certainly didn't say I was watching everything everyone said , I did say I had taken particular notice of one goose's comments but had never mentioned you .I did and do think anti Vaxxers are misguided but never mentioned anything about people who can't because of medical reasons .That was bought up by you and I simply answered your question and have been attacked since .Makes one wonder if there is a hidden agenda.
Also you did actually high lite where i said IF you can get the vaccine the PLEASE DO . That to me is in no way telling you to do something and seems that by highlighting it you should know that.
You have mentioned health issues which I think I can acknowledge you surely have . maybe adjusting the medication could be of some help

I,m not a practicing medical practitioner but I can't think of many medical conditions that would mean you couldn't get the jab . If you would care to elaborate on your condition I may be able to give a opinion but you may not like it.

My sister in law is allergic to the standard flu vaccine- nearly killed her when she first had it. You can be 100% healthy & have an allergic reaction to anything. I know when i had my first jab of Astra Z they made me wait for 20 minutes before leaving in case i had an allergic reaction to it- even though i told them before getting it that i don't have any allergies.

LOL Scummo and national cabinet have now said 70 percent vaccination rate for his phase B and even then they are likely. 80 percent for phase C There is hardly a country anywhere in the world to hit these rates. Get your popcorn put on your slippers this could be an eternal lockdown. Oh and if we do reach these targets they will more than likely move the goal posts again

Any state or territory can only move into the next phase when the average is achieved at both a national and state level.
