[QUOTE=Andrew Walker; Agreed PC Best news so far this year. Now to get him home safely.
Unfortunately Andrew I don't see Oz as a safe haven. Both the NLP and the ALP have shown themselves time and again to be toadies of the Great Satan. Neither protested even when the UN rapporteur on human rights proclaimed that JA's treatment amounted to torture. The only guaranteed safe place looks like Russia. He could join up with that other hero Eddy Snowden and, hopefully, give his tormentors more grief.

Hope you are all safe and well.
Thanks for asking about us here in Sydney. I’m ok as I live near our small local shopping centre so wearing a mask to run errands only takes 10 mins for me at the most as I’ve been getting home delivery and shopping online anyway for years. I did see 3 abandoned masks on the footpath near our block this morning when I went for a walk down to the cliffs before 6.30am. I think people are getting fed up and it certainly can be oppressive. I’m very grateful I can still work from home and our department starts again tomorrow and none of us are expected to travel on public transport carrying laptops etc.
I can’t speak on behalf of Andy nor will I but I am very grateful and happy that he is living close by now as we can never have enough Roosters fans around. There is an actual Rooster in one of the properties behind me and it crows quite often during the day..I’ll take that as a good omen for 2021.
Hope all is well with you in Canberra RT and Happy New Year to you.

No masks here in Canberra but it doesn’t mean we are not affected by it. I hope the affected states can get through it for the sake of themselves and the rest of us who rely on access to those areas.
Thanks to all those doing the right thing.
The gyms can wait, the beaches will still be there and the worlds not going to run out of coffee so mask up... The sooner we all play our part, the sooner we can take part again.Last edited by rented tracksuit; 01-11-2021, 09:47 PM.FVCK CANCER

I have a colleague there plus my 2 elderly aunties on Dad's side, being his sisters, one in her 90's who cannot even speak due to a stroke and another in her 80's and they are housebound anyway. Bloody Queenslanders...I can say that because I was born there..FVCK CANCER

One case today in NSW. What a glorious day it was here in Sydney. Following the guidelines of NSW health and not those of Rented Tracksuit. The day commenced early with a workout at the gym. Which was half full everyone enjoying their training. After that lunch with my Daughter in a lively little Easter Suburbs cafe. This was followed in the afternoon by a trip to the beach where there were very many people enjoying the water and glorious afternoon sun.

Goes underground when the shyt hit the fan a couple of weeks ago then resurfaces when things start dying down again. Things are getting better because people are doing what they need to. Was that you in the tele tonight fighting the police because you are such a hard bugger and refuse to wear a mask???
I bet you think Trumpy won the election as well right?FVCK CANCER

LOL RT you bit twice. Should have seen the people at the cafes beaches and gyms yesterday. This morning those walking around the street in masks were nowhere to be seen as well. When you trust your television

As for biting twice, it warranted a double take because there were soo many flaws in your post!
