Rediculous.
I am not going to get in a slanging match with you GT.
I think you’ll find that RWB’s GP / specialist is the best and most capable person for advising her whether she’s able to safely have the covid jab.
And it’s ridiculous not rediculous. The other poster spells it incorrectly as well.

I don't want a slanging match either .But you have just made the point I have be trying to make .If her doctors at the best people to advise her that she should or shouldn't have the vaccine then why the hell did she ask me in the first place. And who spells it incorrectly . Accusations without evidence are just that . Accusations.

Her question was rhetorical. She already knows she can’t have the jab. She was making a statement that the vaccination argument doesn’t necessarily work for her due to her medical condition.

        • As was my answer .It to was rhetorical. That's been my point since the start .Her question received the answer it deserved. My thoughts are that she was looking for an issue when there wasn't one.Seems to be contagious

          • I find it interesting or even a bit weird that people are studying other posters writing style order to catch them out.

No study required. It stands out like a sore thumb. I find it weird that people get their kicks out of running multiple accounts.

Thought you may have woken up to the fact that you are wrong .I see there is obviously no way to convince you.Sheer blind loyalty or stupidity I'm not sure which but I would be less concerned with multiple accounts that you think I have which again you have failed to back up .Typical.And more concerned about the multiple personalities some of your acquaintances seem to have. Could you at least have the decency to name this so called other account I have.

Unfortunately when they had a service for him here we were away so couldn't attend so the service for my sister in law doubled as celebration of his life also for us.
Sorry Horrie, I missed your post amongst all the other stuff on here. Thirty is way too young to go and cancer! Cancer is such an insidious disease. It took both of my parents. You’d think with all the great things we can do, all the new technology we can create, we could find a cure one day.

Yes it is truly awful, thanks mate, am staying well, getting a jab soon. I dont go out and about much, except to the beach near home for surfing or swimming and sand running or the park across the road for exercising. I go to the supermarket after a couple times a week after 11pm when it is virtually empty.....

I am one of the lucky ones, I can work from home.......

I feel for the workers who lost their jobs and the essential workers who take the increased risk of being out and about for their work......

I hope you are well too Trakkies......

My mum passed away 12 months ago from cancer. Due to covid restrictions at the time we could only invite the immediate family and all of her sisters and extended family couldn’t come.
That is awful MR, yeah so many sad stories, I also have a mate who lost his Dad due to Covid, his Dad was in the UK so he wasnt able to go over there while his Dad deteriorated nor hardly any family who were in the UK could attend his funeral. These are the sad stories behind the statistics we become accustomed to or numb at.....

I hope when this is all over you and the family can get together to celebrate your Moms life.........

Same can be said about those removalist brothers who, not only knowingly travelled when they shouldn't have but tragically infected their mother who ended up dying. That will be haunt them forever, so sad!
Yeah that is so terrible for the young fellas, their Mom was not old either, I wouldnt wish for that on anyone......

                          • delta variant seems to be more dangerous than other variants. nsw health website saying there are nearly 4000 active cases with nearly 300 in hospital. that would make it worse than a 1 in 14 chance of going to hospital (not including those who have it and don't know they have it).
there have been 22 deaths so far. there might be about 5000 cases in the current outbreak which would be a death rate of about 1 in 250 but death rates lag behind case numbers so that ratio will narrow.
1 in <250 isn't good but it's less bad if overall case numbers are low. trick is to keep a lid on it until people get vaccinated.

Hey brawl, yeah it’s just terrible and the thing is it’s only just starting to get worse here in Australia. Gee I hope we can slow the spread down enough to get the vaccination numbers up. To make things worse though, this delta variant seems to be spreading quickly through the younger population more so than the earlier versions did.

I’m sorry to hear about your mate and his Dad. Like you said, there’s so many stories you hear of this sort of thing now. It was even crazy the night Mum passed in the palliative care unit. They let me and my siblings and our kids in to her room to say goodbye, but only briefly because there were too many of us as the maximum visitor numbers was supposed to be only two. It’s just crazy that covid has such a control of our lives that we can’t even say goodbye properly to our loved ones or have all of their extended family and friends at their funeral. HH and I were saying a similar thing in a PP too.

                              • 291 cases yesterday and over 50 still in the community. Overnight a apartment block was put in lock down. Its never ending unfortunately. On the bright sight over 93000 intelligent soul came forward to be vaccinated.
