I just want to know how many people will buy a TV made in Australia at $3000 a pop compared to a made in China TV for $800 maybe even cheaper..

Will be the first time I have ever bothered buying on , had many fresh water Cray but never a salty

Was over in WA about 2 years ago at a place called Cevantes about 2hrs north of Perth, the area is known for its lobster or i should say correctly crayfish, it was one of the blandest things i have ever eaten, i have always found them a bit bland when i have tried them here but thought coming from an area where they are harvested i might get a better tasting one but no it wasn't to be. I was chatting to guy on another league site who's mate works in the industry and he said by law they have to cook their saltwater crays in fresh water instead of salt water, he said the fresh water kills off a lot of the taste, he reckons a salt water cray cooked in salt water is just so far superior to ones that are cooked in fresh water.
Haven't had a chance to sample a fresh water Cray yet.

Anyway though give me a Moreton Bay Bug any day over a salt water cray, yummmmmm.

Really think you should unblock him . Takes a special kind of fool to be able to rant and rave about any sort of topic . Something like that has to be seen to be believed. I really do believe hes in China and he thinks hes some sort of government spy trying to infiltrate the inferior Aussie race . He dead set cant be the full quid.Starting to feel sorry for the poor bugger , but then I am truly a softy at heart .

I'll pass on that..my friends do keep me amused though with telling me how he is still 'quoting' me and 'talking' to me on the main part of the forum not realising that his posts are not visible to me at all. I'm not sure how many different ways he needs to be told this. He's either very slow on the uptake or too arrogant to take note of what others are saying to him. Apparently he spelled Bryan Fletcher's name as "Brian' too..any true fan would know how to spell this regardless of whether they followed us or Souths..

Yes poor bugger is a few sandwiches short of a picnic. Anyway..thank you for your good wishes for my family for Christmas in your other post. We are all safe and well and I have a new great niece on the way in London Town next year so am very excited.

I have a new Roosters 1908 T-shirt too and am wearing it today.

i think all of the above or simply cant take the facts that others have differing opinions . Think your safe for now as Jack and I seem to have his focus at the moment .

Agree with the Moreton bay bugs they are delicious . Not big on prawns but love my oysters and bugs

I haven't had prawns in a long time but funnily enough both me and my sister said we are having them for Christmas even though we are not catching up this year as she is in country Victoria. I'm going to an oyster bar on the 24th but having squid or whatever else is the special of the day. Plus some fancy dessert...

Love grilled squid, used to love the whole grilled squid the Balkan used to do. The Morrison have plenty of oysters on their menu too.

I wax and wane with prawns, sometimes i like them other times i couldn't be bothered, love the school prawns from November till around March, small and sweet and also some of the smaller to mid sized tiger prawns are good, i often find the bigger king prawns can be disappointing so rarely have them. Oysters i find the south coast ones are the best but the ones i had from the Camden Haven River, the Hastings River, Macleay River and Nambucca River in November this year were excellent, yes i ate quite a few while i was away.

Very timely reminder Skeez. All that talk of eating animals (some endangered) was getting depressing. From what I've seen and read in the media we are steadily denuding the oceans and we are probably one of the last generations that will be able to devour without limit, or forethought. Without wanting to open old wounds (and he is a comrade Chookster deserving respect) '08 is very prominent in the gluttony discussion putting away those fresh water Yabbies like there's no tomorrow - sounds like he's gone through half the population himself. The contradiction in that is that he has professed deep sympathy for the environment - I mean all of those thousands of Yabbies that have passed through his digestive system were once part of an ecological network.
Ya see, just sayin' you're a conservationist is nowhere near enough. There are thousands of blokes who think that more public transport is a great idea.....for the fella next door.
