  • Why?

Why do some moderators on some sports message boards like to drop comments in reply to others, threaten and then close the thread without leaving an oportunity for the poster they are commenting about to reply? Could it be an inferiority complex or maybe that a raw nerve might be hit?

Ive seen it happen a number of times now so I am just a bit curious as to why?

    Thank you.

oh Ralphy boy, you know we all love you but you have to remember just because something amuses you doesn't mean its right.
Backwards is one of the finest online warriors that you will ever meet, but he understand. Just relax and you will understand too.

Don't get caught up in the "its every one else's fault" or I might have to request the mods change your username to Julia

Ralph, it is plain to see that this is a very thinly veiled attempt at taking a shot at the General.

I have put a reason on the thread that was closed, i am also closing this thread for the same reason.

If you have an issue with the moderation and administration of this forum, send an email to the administrators and we will deal with it.

Ralph, i suggest you read the forum rules and regulations: http://www.thechookpen.com.au/forum/...mp-Regulations

Especially these 2 areas in particular:

            Agenda Pushing:
Agenda pushers will not be made welcome. If the staff feels that your posts are inappropriately pushy, or repetitive they will be locked, edited or removed and you will be asked to refrain from further posting on the subject.

Breaches of any of the above rules are punishable by a maximum ban of 14 days. The actual length of any ban is at the discretion of the moderating/admin team.

Repeated breaches of the rules will lead to a permanent ban. Before any such ban is implemented a poster will be given a 'final warning'. However, the moderating team reserve the right to impose an instant and permanent ban on members who seriously infringe the above rules.

            Criticism:
The actions and decisions of the mod/admin team are not open for debate or criticism on the main board. Any post that questions or criticizes such decisions will be locked or deleted. If you wish to question such a decision use the PM system.
The rules are there for everyone. This is your first warning.....

            Thread closed.
