I caught "The Girl who played with Fire" on Sunday night. I almost fell asleep in the first hour. 2 rape scenes, and a lesbian scene, all the norm for a Swedish Film. Then for some reason got into the story the last hour.
I have SALT on the PC at home. Havent watched it yet. Will probably take the kids to see the Guardian owl thingy and cats and Dogs 2. LOL.
Also want to catch Wall Street 2.Alcohol never solved any life problems.....then again neither did milk.

Earthquake
Even though this is an oldie it has always been a favourite of mine,i was house sitting for a friend who has a great home theatre set up so i took it around to watch it mainly just to see how good the soundtrack would be through a good set up.
Well the sound did not disappoint, the sub woofer went off on cue with the earthquake, pre shocks and after shocks rattling the ceilings,it sounded fantastic and subtly reminded me of when it was shown in sensurround back in the 70's.However having not seen this movie for a long time i had forgotten how really bad it was overall, some very botchy special effects and some really bad dialouge and acting, still i enjoyed it mainly to finally hear the earthquake rumble through the speakers like it should and give the plaster a bit of a shaking.

Was it poorly executed?
