A lot of reviews painted Law Abiding Citizen as yet another vigilante flick with no substance. I'm undecided, I like Foxx however i can't see Butler in this role.

The new Viggo Mortensen movie looks the goods! Won't be a nationwide release however it is getting a lot of praise from the critics.

      • Went to see Invictus last night and enjoyed it more than I've enjoyed a movie for a while.

I ended up really engrossed in it and had to stop myself waving my arms around and yelling out when the rugby was being played.

Even though the focus on 'unification through rugby' was a little contrived, it didn't take away from my enjoyment of the film as a whole.

Definitely recommend it, espec if you like your sport.

        • The Road is definately in the top 3 movies I had watched lately. Great potrayal of a pullitzer novel. Mortensen is definately an underrated actor.

                • If you're a fan this is a must see. He really puts in a superb performance.

Last few years have been golden for mortensen fans - eastern promises, Appaloosa and the road are all great movies

                  • Anyone watch 'American Beauty' last night.

                    third time I've seen it.

Makes you wonder what draws you to a movie like this.

                    • I watched the BBC's Emma miniseries last night, was absolutely charming and much better than the 1996 film of the same name.

I swear I was born in the wrong era.

Both Butler & Foxx were brilliant in this movie. Both very convincing!!

The vigilante aspect is very in your face & I found myself struggling as to who was right..

I put myself in Butlers shoes & could see me wanting to do the same..

                        • An Education.

Any film with French music and gorgeous scenes in Paris is okay with me!

Oh and I also saw the Percy Jackson film (for the Greek mythology and Valentine's Day had sold out ) but it was too adolescent for me.

                          • Wolfman was very average. The only reason to watch it would be for Hopkins performance, he is superb as always. Feels like the most important parts were rushed.

                            • I saw Precious yesterday night at the Dendy. Wow, what a movie. It was so moving and enthralling, I cried during a few scenes. Gaboure Sadibe (sp?) and Mo-Nique are such wonderful actresses. This movie just made me thankful for my mother and my life. And to think this was based on a true story, that's the saddest thing. But I really suggest this movie to everybody.

                              8.5/10

P.S. Mariah did an outstanding job... ESPECIALLY after Glitter haha.
