General I didn't even know that the wall went to members only. Since I joined in 2008 it was member only so I am unaware of what happened in the past. But by being members we should have been told it was going to close on Tuesday. You have all our details so if anyone stuffed up they would be banned from the members lounge. I just think it was wrong to do that. It's only my opinion.

Fair enough but you have to remember it was the Club (not me) that made those decisions.

How long have you followed the Roosters? Mickey Lane was David Smith the guy who played in the centres for the Roosters in the 80's.

He came from the bush & the Roosters trialed him under the name of Mickey Lane. Geez I thought you would have known that?

The mods have been quite fair and consistent, so as long as they keep to those principles it should be ok. They might be a little busier hopefully the tone will remain. It's not that hard, don't be an arse you don't get banned.

Yes, Mitch Brennan also trialled for St George after playing for Brisbane the year before in the Amco cup. Brennan or St george hadn't sought a release for him to play.

I feel sorry for all those people who bought memberships thinking they would have access to the wall and in the words of one Mr Bob Barker.. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Needless to say, I didnt renew this year.

The General was good to his word, he sent me a text tonight saying you'd asked about my whereabouts. I'd given up on this forum a few months back (for several reasons, good to see someone finally came to their senses and banned PIM) but curiosity got the better of me tonight! A few Wallsters/Chookpenners have found me on Twitter which I use regularly. You can follow me at 'ohmyloz'. Always happy to chat with fellow Chooks fans. I can't keep up with the forums anymore, life is too hectic.

I am not sure I would consider Lethbridge Park 'the bush'. Mitch Brennan used the name Mickey Lane because he was negotiating at the time with a team in the Brisbane comp. He copped a fine when caught out.
