I just hope things don't go downhill again like they did a few months back when there were some bannings. Things have been a lot better around here since then, though there was a bit of idiotic drivel going on here the other night. I'll put that down to the off-season though. Just hope we don't get another batch of annoying trolls. Or roosters fans who would prefer to abuse each other / outdo each other with childish insults than contribute to football related discussion and debate. I'm not a member of the chookpen either as I live in Canberra. But I've been supporting this Club for 34 years now and have really enjoyed being a part of this forum over the past 8 months or so.

You are not the only one Chook, I still have mine as well. It used to get the occasional public viewing at the gym if we'd won over the weekend but it's looking a little worn nowdays.

Brings back some bloody good memories of that time, when the Wall was the place to be and there was none of the political correctness contraining forums that there is now. Happy days they were, and many friendships (and feuds) were created during that time, most of which still exist today.

I've barely frequented the Wall since 2007, but I'll always remember its glory days of 2001-2004.

I didn't mean to make the newbies feel unwelcome. I was commenting more on some of the original members who were on here and causing havoc with the forums a few months back. Some I believe are still here and somehow managed to survive the bannings or thwarted the bannings by remorphing themselves into another name! It's good to have a wide range of opinions. And the more chookies fans out there the better. I was just commenting on my desire not to go back to the way things were a few months back as it was really annoying back then. Sorry I shouldn't assume all newbies would act like that and I do apologise. Welcome all new Roosters fans to the Chookpen.

The Wall was a great place to be between 2001 & 2004 and yep the friends, enemies, alliances and feuds I made and engaged in during that period of time still exist on here.

I got a 3 day ban on the last day for pointing out some home truths lol.. like getting sin binned with 30 seconds to go.. that place became a complete and total joke in the end and got ruined by ego's.

Abuse/attacks on Administrators/Moderators was not tolerated on The Wall nor is it on The Chookpen. I am both a Moderator and a founding member of this site too so if you have a problem you should address it with site's operators whilst keeping your "home truth" opinions to yourself.
