How many of you use the ignore setting?

Check out page 12 MR, i did a message about it i think it was when AW was quoting ISM that he cut the very last bit of the quote off and from there it has a flow on effect, with things quoted

Oops. Seriously I’m confused as to who said it as the flow on effect with the quote function is a nightmare. It may have actually been 08. But the point being it’s classic Paddo, even if we know it’s really not.

As a quick reflection, the ignore function is working quite well for me. The biggest win is that I can no longer see a heap of threads claiming to contain the true story about Russia / China.

Lol…I think Paddo’s repetitive threads are dying a natural death anyway. I stopped posting there ages ago, well except for the occasional post now. He wore me out with his one sided debating style. A debate should feel like an actual debate where there’s at least some mutual respect between both parties even if you disagree on points, but with Paddo it’s more like a condescending lecture. I’m sure posting in here is now a more pleasant experience for you.

Of course it was. Like I said way back there is no way Andy is Paddo. I’ve made slip ups on the quote function before too. We probably all have. I don’t think Paddo has ever used it properly. Besides that Andy and Paddo are completely different personalities.

This is what I had hoped. While one popped up today, I didn't hear from him (or his alts) and my commentary was in general terms.

It's definitely a lot more pleasant without confrontations about this matter as (sadly) nothing has really progressed in this space.

I did a course on this at ANU the other week (aimed at professionals in the field) where I met a broad range of people whose business involves understanding modern day geopolitics. The discussions I had there (and have at work every day with large M&A clients who are either invested in China or have money coming outta China) are far more interesting and productive. Respectfully, I'm gonna prioritise them.

Thats what I said earlier in the year. If the mods won't use bans, the only way he will die out here is if people stop engaging him.

He's got a little fangirl in the shamed The Skeez (A Country Member) being offended on his behalf now and dredging up his own anti-western commentary.

Can't work out why they don't vote with their passports though and embrace these better worlds by living there.
