I didn't realise Dick Sargent was offered the role first. As for Mrs Kravitz, I really liked the original actress. The second one had a really grating voice though I'm pretty sure she had the role for longer.

Kinda ironic that he kicked the painkillers eventually and the durries got him in the end.

                  • It’s all very well to make fun of those who choose to use the ignore function. Has anyone ever stopped to think that someone’s mental health and wellbeing was improved because of implementing it? You have no idea what it’s like to walk in someone else’s shoes, particularly when you are not privy to what else may be going on in someone’s life. Being trolled, bullied and mocked by people, particularly those who were supposed to be trusted friends, is truly a heinous experience. I know some who have taken their own lives in situations like this.

I was very nearly one of them some time ago myself. Is it any wonder I’ve now had to deal with tumours..created by stress and pressure from everywhere and everyone, clawing at me and wanting my attention for inconsequential nonsense.

I’m speaking out now because enough is enough and we have had too many forum members leave for various reasons.

I’m moving house because 2 of my neighbours have lost their lives also in the past year and I am surrounded by sadness. One of them owned a very large property portfolio and had wealth most only dream of. Money can’’t cure that kind of pain.

Stop and think of the impact that is having on loved ones.. Now we are still losing young members of our local community again due to violence as recently as Monday. Yet can’t come on a footy forum to relax without creeps and long nosed curtain twitchers scurrying around clogging up the private messaging system with gossip, innuendo and lies, thinking they won’t get found out or that the messages don’t get passed on, revealing deceitful and backstabbing behaviour.

My new home is going to be a Chookpen free zone so am I wishing for those on here who protected and defended me nothing but good health, peace and happiness. I’m sure I haven’t even met some of you in person, yet you chose to look out for me and ensure I was ok. I wasn’t actually for a long time but am grateful I’ve come out of this dark period enough to finally speak out about the impact the behaviour of some has taken on me as I do not want anyone else to go through what I went through.

Peace, light and Roosters..that’s all the world needs..

Hope you're travelling well and find a happier place to live. Maybe overlooking Bondi, with the ability to catch-up with Cords and Friendie at the local brew house? That or an apartment in the Astor (my sister used to own a beautiful place there) so that you can join Nick and I at the Tattersalls for our monthly cognac.

It's interesting that wealth isn't always a cure hey. My great aunt owned a penthouse behind Boomerang and it wasn't uncommon for people to be found dead in the fire stairs (as I learned 1st hand as a youngster who used to zip up and down them for fun).

IMO financial stability can help (having been flat brokr and living outta my car) but beyond that, money is just money.

Hopefully you choose to return some day. Otherwise, remember that the pen will always be here for you

Cmon Izzy this poster will be back this is their 65th time they’ve said they won’t be back

Sadly I doubt overlooking Bondi is the next residence I’m guessing it’s a forced move to somewhere less glamorous

Yes money doesn’t make one happy but it makes life easier The two happiest periods of my life were once when I had none and the other money is not really an object meaning we don’t want for anything

Its the people whom you have or allow in your life that determines your happiness and how you choose to react or interact with others

Hope the city to surf training is going well for you Whijst not reaching the dizzying heights of your training I will be doing my own later today Consisting of 100 30kg squats. Half hour on the striding machine with will see me do a bit over 5kms. Then a 1k swim in a 25 metre pool which will take my about half an hour If only I knew how to tumble turn I could do that quicker

                        • I can still find documented evidence of when the policy of exclusion and bullying started. When I was no longer made to feel welcome in the music thread and was persistently and consistently met with deliberately provocative comments disguised as conversation to other posters all over the forum. It is clear in my mind as if it happened yesterday. Being the victim of bullying is indeed horrible. I have been scarred for life from a young age. I came to the Chookpen to talk to fellow Rooster fans about the team I loved. The team that enabled me to escape from the reality of that childhood bullying. I loathe bullying with a passion. I have learnt over the years that I do not have to accept it. And I don’t. I can’t stop it but I certainly won’t take it anymore .Being two faced and saying one thing to one person and something entirely different to another is also unacceptable to me. Betraying a confidence is wrong on all levels and totally unacceptable.
