How many of you use the ignore setting?

Isn't it funny,Mario and the General talked this place when the Wall was closing and how things were better here now,this place hasn't changed,its got worse,it is ashame because there are a few people from the Wall who i would like to keep in contact with.This place is a mess,sorry Mario and General,i know you are trying to do a good job but this place just isn't worth it.

Ironically though its a couple of ex Wallsters and jmcodswallop that spin the rubbish from what I can see.

The General cleaned up this sort of stuff from The Wall and the miscreants either played by the rules or got long holidays...hopefully this may occur here in future too.

The problem with all the non-related footy talk is that is hijacks footy related threads. And then what started as a perfectly legitimate footy thred is closed because of all the non-footy posting gets nasty. Which doesn't stop the non-footy posting, but does stop members from posting a footy related reply on the subject!

I don't always have a great deal of time to browse on here during the day and it gets frustrating when I click on what I think is a legimate footy conversation to find myself trawling through pages of nothing but binkering and crass comments.

If there was a specific place on the forum where everyone carry out their online feuds and romantic interludes and those who were'nt interested could ignore it, that would be fine, but that's not the case. At the moment, it's just ruling over footy related threads.

I'm been tempted by the ignore button before, but til now have never used it. Unless something is done to improve what is posted where, that will have to change, as there are some posters who are yet to post anything footy related.

My Ignore List is a veritable who's who of dickheads, trollers, geese with multiple identities and annoying newcommers from the Wall.

Once the dribble is filtered out this is a very enjoyable place to be.

I think thats the key point...even if something is unfunny or even borderline offensive you cop it sweet once or maybe even twice.
