  • Where's Bongdi Boy? I won the Poles cause I told you so......

Would have thought BB would have climbed out of his bunker to give us his insight on the US elections........

Its quite funny what is happening over there, some classics from the guy who managed to bankrupt his Casinos 3 times......

Biden looks likely to win but I tells yas its a fraud and I won........

I guess we shall see how this all unfolds but win or lose Trump has given me a sh*tload of laughs.......

The real villain in all of it is Murdoch and his enabling Fox News. Surely he can't double down on the incitement stuff? There's a strong whiff of Fascism in all of that.
The New Deal of the thirties ushered in the first, only and brief, as things turned out, glory days of the American working class. As a quid pro quo of government largesse, Corporations and businesses were required to prefer unionised labour and that strong union representation lasted into the seventies. The fifties and sixties were times of worker prosperity thanks to a strong union presence. A succession of Republicans, together in recent times, with Murdoch put paid to that and have since conned and divided the uncomprehending proles to militarism, Right Wing nationalism and a deeply held racist sentiment. The US is a bullshit democracy. It is, and always has been, a Plutucracy and was designed that way.

The Fox News coverage over the last few days has been interesting. Starting with them being the first to call Arizona for Biden- way before anyone else and its still going to be a close call in that state.
It sent Trump nuts & he called Rupert and demanded they reverse the call......and got denied. Now theres only 1 person at Fox who could have signed off making the Arizona call knowing it would send Trump bananas.... and theres only 1 person he could have reversed that decision....Rupert

Fox started talking down Trumps legal challenge right after his press meeting to announce it, urging him to respect the election result. Only the high rating shows Tucker & Hannity were talking about legal challenges- but it was in a toned down way. Tucker & Hannity were given a bit of freedom to touch base with there huge loyal followers

In the interim the "Barbie Nazi" Laura Ingraham - who is so pro Trump its ludicrous- gave a spiel that was so obviously prepared for her basically saying its time for Trump to move on gracefully. WTF?? Laura Ingraham??? She may have finished it off with "signed Rupert Murdoch

The far right wing Murdoch New York post started along the same lines- they turned against Trump.

The moral of all this is when Rupert Murdoch says you are toast then you are toast!!!

Actually at the start Rupert didn't like Trump-especially his immigration views- because as he stated publicly, he is an immigrant himself. At the time Fox News, despite being right wing, were sitting on the fence except Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity & Jeanine Pirro....who gave Trump a massive push....and in a short space of time they became the highest ratings news shows in the US. Murdoch saw the opening and went with it....Wall St Journal, New York Post...everything he had. It snowballed. Great business decision.

Now Rupert knows its time for Trump to go. Why isn't any of his media outlets screaming blue murder fraud like Trump is? You think off of a sudden they have a conscience or the truth matters?
Check out Sky News Australia website now. They bashed Biden for the last 12 months and now the headline is "The People have Spoken. President elect Biden". So now he will give his big hitters like Hannity & Tucker some room to praise Trump because he doesn't wasnt them losing their huge fan base.....but the rest have to toe the line until further notice. At work last night we flicked between CNN and Fox News and at times it was like watching the same coverage. Fox was reporting that Trumps election fraud claims had "no proof". WTF???

Interestingly last night James Murdoch wife Kathryn tweeted "we done it" when the Biden win was announced. She has been very open about her support for Biden. James of course resigned from the board of News Corp in July because of ‘disagreements over certain editorial content’. For some people the bottom dollar line isn't everything

How astoundingly naive of you me ol'mate '08. Go watch the recent BBC doco trilogy on the Murdochs. It is on SBS On Demand - explains everything but is a little more complex than The Tele.
Murdoch is notorious for never being associated with a loser. He may ease off now for a while but he'll be back pushing his empire interests and signing millions of mugs up to help in the process.

The Murdoch documentary is on iview, not SBS on Demand. I only went up to year 10 at school but I know which channel is which.

Pado old mate I couldn't give a rat's ass what Chanel a doco is on or not .It would obviously be telling the story from one side as does most doco
As stated not a Murdoch ,Trump ,Biden fan, none of them speak for me or actually stand for my views or values .For me there is no right or wrong to politics like you want to drum into people ,just different views and outlooks .I vote depending on the political party and there views at the time of a election , if I don't like the leader that is of consideration but is not the be all and end all .Unlike you I am open minded and look and think about the outcome for my family and the country , if that's labour then I would vote for them , liberal then them .I haven't tied my horse to any wagon and haven't be brainwashed like you
