Let me get this right....there was Trump telling those ferals to march onto Capitol Hill and he would be right there with them. Giuliani, Trumps dingbat sons and a few others say the same....and as soon as the crowd heads to Capitol Hill they get on a plane and fly out. What did everyone expect- this weak spineless bastard dodged the draft for the Vietnam war more than once!!

He then doubles down today and condemns the crowd he revved up....you gotta be kidding me.

Today the US reported 4000 Covid deaths & 256,000 new infections...and it hardly made the news. He hasn't spoke about Covid since the election but has found time for golf on most days since Nov 3rd.

What a despicable appalling excuse for a human.

Nows theres tens of millions of Americans who will still believe in all his lies and tens of millions will soon realise they have been lied too.....this is far from over.

I thank God for Australia. I thank God to be Australian. We are truly blessed for what we have got.Never take it for granted

On a positive, he might’ve now stopped the US being able to go to war to bestow democracy on other nations.
    ..it’ll be interesting to see

As awful as these events in US are, it comes as no surprise with the acceptance of lawlessness culminating in the riots and violence last year. Kamahl a Harrass endorsed the violence then by the "BLM" terrorists that killed people and ruined businesses and communities. She will be President soon...if you thought Trump was bad...

And again the media last year swept this under the carpet, unlike now when "right wing" protestors are badged and footage and headline news maintained. Local authorities and governors took little action last year and sent the message that lawlessness and violence was acceptable behaviour.

This was always going to happen. If Trump had won the Antifa mob et al would have been rioting just as hard with less media coverage no doubt.

The US has a big law and order issue now where authority needs to be respected and even feared again, so people are motivated to not do the wrong thing.

Twitter is now in the process of banning hundreds if not thousands of his followers. Gotta love democracy.

Yes Harris on the Stephen Colbert show did support the BLM movement ....however, there was no mention of riots or violent protests in the interview. Harris has previously condemned violent protests. In fact her reputation as an attorney general attracted criticism because some thought she was too tough on criminals.

I don't think Biden is going anywhere for 4 years but do you honestly think that if she became President that she would be as bad as Trump? If that was true then she would take the mantle off him as the worst US President in history. What is it about her political beliefs & policies you think are so destructive?

There are some posters on here who just don't like successful females RR. They mock and rubbish women from other countries such as Kamala Harris, Greta Thunberg (she's a young teenager with Aspergers FFS) and Jacinda Arden as they can't match them with intellect and compassion for others. So they just sit behind keyboards thumping away with anger and bitterness.

How typical of you Jax but, as a devotee of Sky after dark, not at all surprising that you create Strawmen in Antifa and BLM. Theirs was a spontaneous reaction, understood world wide, to be an expression of the awful insecurity that black and brown feel in the US especially given the Fascist and racist behaviour of Trump and "Whitey" over the last 4 years - the Charlotesville "fault on both sides", the sympathy of law enforcement given to the 17yo vigilante who shot two BLM protesters dead, the Mexican "rapists and murderers". One can only guess at the reaction had it been BLM rioting in the Capitol.
And Random and Mick, you might think a bit more about our Australian good fortune. There is pronounced racism and scapegoating here and it is propagated by the same enabler who boosted Trump over the term of his office and has a near media monopoly here.
Jax's rant might have been delivered to the crowd on "Save America" day - remember how, weeks ago, he was with Jonesy, still holding out hope for a Trump/Republican win?

It's the extreme leftist in her that spooks me mate, to be honest.

Biden is more to the centre at least, and even Trump comparatively. I think its dangerous to have people in/or close to power at the extreme end of either wing.

I would expect, with Bidens cognitive decline, that she will be top dog sooner rather than later. Even without the title, she probably pulls the strings.

Not sure its right to label Trump the worst in history though. He was somewhat crazy and very un diplomatic but that also allowed him to achieve things his predecessors could only dream of. He had courage and actually "led", didn't just play to the crowd. Arguably the most successful foreign policy of any recent President. Despite the media and big tech pile against, desperate to portray him as some sort of white supremacist, he improved economic conditions for African Americans. He increased his vote amongst black, Latino and Asian support this time around. Chiefly though, he stood up to China and did the world a favour.

I sometimes wish we had more of a Trump style leader here, with courage and conviction. With a little bit of tinkering...

I’m glad you mention Greta and her Aspergers. As a mother of a child with Aspergers I know how hard it is for them to put themselves out there. Disagreeing with her opinion is one thing but mocking her is reprehensible as far as I’m concerned!

You know it takes a lot to push me to use phrases like FFS but when it comes to young people being attacked in particular, I can't and won't hold back.
