And neither did I to be honest in the Covid thread but sometimes we get pushed a little too far. So closed minded and stubborn to something or someone a little different and not willing to evolve or view the world with a little kindness and empathy. Too bloody scared of anyone not fitting their rigid views of what is 'normal' and 'acceptable'. As my friend Andy says, they are to be pitied and he's right. Sounds like they don't have decent people to love them and share their lives with so they lash out at others.

Kamahl a Harrass endorsed the violence then by the "BLM" terrorists that killed people and ruined businesses and communities. She will be President soon...if you thought Trump was bad...
And again the media last year swept this under the carpet, unlike now when "right wing" protestors are badged and footage and headline news maintained. Local authorities and governors took little action last year and sent the message that lawlessness and violence was acceptable behaviour.
This was always going to happen. If Trump had won the Antifa mob et al would have been rioting just as hard with less media coverage no doubt.
The US has a big law and order issue now where authority needs to be respected and even feared again, so people are motivated to not do the wrong thing.
Both sets of "riots" were disgraceful and its indicative of the hypocrisy that they were both not treated the same way. Harris though is nothing compared to pelosi who is an evil divisive creature who did support the crap in Seattle.,
But that does highlight the true patheticness of today's society that there is nothing close to consistency and while its easy to criticise Trump and his administration (often warranted) the same criticism and judgement is not applied to Biden and his friends Just excuses and lame justifications.
I have a number of friends who I still like and called friends but feel a bit sad for them and their infatuation with TrumpThe Internet is a place for posting silly things

And RWB hope you had a lovely day thinking beautiful memories of your Mum on her birthday. It would of been Mum’s birthday next month, the first one since she passed, so it’s going to be hard.

It's much braver and scarier to speak out when you're in the minority. Emapathy is something we should all strive for but you need to be willng to put yourself in the other person's shoes to truly understand what it is.
Oh and if I had a dollar for every whinge on here about cancel culture, I could afford to move down the road to Point Piper and go live next to Mr Turnbull so we could have a natter over the back fence about the Roosters. Who cares what's been cancelled? There are so many fantastic new and fresh TV shows etc to watch so why get stuck in the past? You would think some on here were collecting royalty cheques from that outdated and tired nonsense, with all the whinging and handwringing going on."Those who care about you can hear you, even when you are quiet" - Steve Maraboli

Im sorry to hear that about your mum.
My mum had to have a colostomy bag for 6 months post op which was terrible for her & due to having a section of her large bowel removed the ol number 2’s have been a nightmare for her ever since, she can’t go away or anything. And just to make things even tougher for her she has a anal fistula which can’t be operated on because it’s to big a operation for her at this stage of her life.
Anyway she still keeps an eye on the Chooks & her favorite player is Daniel Tupou

Thanks so much for your good wishes and my Mum had her bowel cancer dealt with pretty swiftly years ago but it was the diabetes and heart attack in November 2005 that ultimately caused her passing in June 2006. We did try and keep our sense of humour right up until the end, even when she had broken the same bones as Madonna had in August 2005 when she had fallen from her horse when she was living in England. I said to Mum that why do you always have to do what Madonna does?
I hope next month won't be too difficult for you MR. I still celebrate my parents birthdays every year in some way.
