On Wednesday June 16 big Gal takes on 22 yo Australian Heavy Weight Champion Justis Huni. I think Gal may have bitten off more than he can chew but in saying that if anyone can cause a massive massive upset its Gal.
On June 19th in Miami Florida Teofimo Lopez who is the current Super Light Weight WBO, IBF & WBO Champion fights Aussie George Kambosos. What a fight this will be, George has a 19 0 0 record, he played junior footy for Cronulla before making a decision to pursue boxing. Its a great story & if can win this fight he will be Australia's best ever fighter. George has fought overseas a few times against quality boxers & won. I cant wait for the fight. Its a massive payday for him 6M, Go George you good thing.
On Wednesday July 7th Tim Tszyu fights Michael Zerafa. This could be a beauty. They have both fought Jeff Horn & beat him the Zerafa v Horn 2 fight was one of the best fights you will see. Zerafa even though he has lost 4 times in his career could upset Tszyu, without a doubt this is Tszyu biggest test. Ive watched the last 4 Tszyu fights & I have been impressed with him & I think he should be able to get over Zerafa. Hopefully if he gets over Zerafa he gets to fight the big fights like what George is doing.
In 2019 Dwight Ritchie died in a training accident on Saturday following a sparring session with Michael Zerafa.
Ritchie reportedly collapsed after a a body shot from Zerafa,
Overall I think thats not a bad boxing card over the next couple of months.
