The fight card lived up to the hype with some fantastic bouts.
Nader Hamden son climbing off the canvas in the 1st round to win a bruising encounter.
Harry Garside is a terrific boxer and I couldn't understand the commentary to get off his toes and start slugging. He isnt a heavy puncher and never will be but relies on reflexes and outstanding footwork to outwit his opponents.
Nikita Tszyu was the most impressive fighter of the night and he has the same composure and punching power that is a family trait.
Gal showed tremendous heart to keep coming when he copped a flogging and I really hope he retires now as he has slowed down noticeably and has nothing left to prove in the sport.

I fell asleep before Gallens fight started but I watched Garside & Nikita Tszyus fights.
I like both of them but they both need to fight better quality fighters next time.
I’m so looking forward to the Kambosos fight, Haney is quality but George is very tough & it should be a ripper.
Charlo has all the belts in the super welterweight division & hopefully George does the same in the light weight division.

Absolute beauty.
Both fights have been outstanding & both boxers have been outstanding.
I fear for Tim Tszyu if he gets into the ring with either of them, he is not at their level yet & I think Charlo would wipe the floor with him. Tszyu has to fight a couple of more fights against quality boxers & beat them convincingly before he takes on Charlo.

Castano is a short, swarming fighter who was walking onto Charlo's punches in what was a great bout. Tim is more polished who will use his deadly left rip and measured shots to come at him from different angles.
I remember watching Harrison beat Charlo a couple of years ago and i thought Castano outworked him in the first bout so he is definitely beatable.
Tim did a few things wrong in his last bout in terms of preparation in his first trip overseas and was pretty crook with the flu.
He is 27 and in his prime, it's his time. He'll be carrying my money.

To me JB both Charlo & Castano look better than Tim, I can’t recall Tim going 10 Rds & having to continually fight, no let up, being smashed whilst smashing his opponent back, Charlo & Castano absolutely flogged each other in both fights & Tim has not fought anyone with their intensity IMO.

I agree, Tim really hasnt fought anyone of any note. Better for him if Charlo vacates the belt and Tim can fight for the vacant WBO against someone a level or 2 below Charlo.

Devin Haney has arrived in Melbourne for his bout with George Kambosos so the fight is definitely on, covid or injury at training are the only things that will stop it.
There were fears that Haney would sensationally pull out of the June 5 blockbuster at Marvel Stadium after his father, Bill, was yet to have his entry visa approved, reportedly due to a prior drug conviction in 1992.
Haney (27-0, 15KOs) will be trained by Yoel Judah the father and head trainer of retired former two-division and undisputed welterweight champion Zab Judah for the upcoming four-belt, undisputed championship.



This will be the biggest fight ever here in Australia.

Cant wait for this fight I even get to watch it in the pub as opposed to last time having to stand outside a beer garden watching it. Hope it is something like the last fight where he literally punched Lopez head in I wish i could post pics I have of Lopez after that fight here I always use the caption He thinks he won the fight.

Gotta love George though he is so real and humble after that fight they interviewed him, and Lopez came storming in interrupting it Lopez finished by saying he would take time out to spend with his wife and new born child. George congratulated him on that and said that is what life is all about, this is just shit ( pointing at his belts he had just won ) compared to that. As a Parent that is so true. Nothing means more than your kids. Much respect for his attitude and mindset
