My husband and I are getting our second tomorrow. We’re getting it at our GP’s health clinic, pre-booked 3 months ago so shouldn’t be any bigger queue than normal there. Bookings are weeks in advance, so no drop ins. We’re also lucky that we’re in South Canberra and most of the covid action is occurring north AT THE MOMENT! Hopefully it stays that way.

great stuff - you feel better when you get it done. they ask you to wait for 20 mins afterwards - i'd ask if you can wait outside if it was me. if they say no, start coughing

Yeah they made us wait for 20 minutes after the first time, in a separate room with 2 or 3 others. Separated but probably not enough with this new delta variant. I’ll feel much better when I’m fully vaccinated but we’ve still got the kids unvaccinated as there’s no Pfizer for them yet and the 18 year old doesn’t want AZ. He wants to wait a bit longer for Pfizer but I’m not so sure he should now.
