Now, now there was no mystery. RWB was replying to my post which I posted here clear for all to see.

You just inspired me to go find a photo online of a young man who lived across the road from me. He was born a week before me and his mother came out of hospital with him and Mum went into hospital to have me. His name was Simon and he died of leukaemia before our 21st birthdays. I just found a photo of him with the Warwick Cowboys rugby league team (who wear our red, white and blue EASTS jerseys) from 1986 with my godfather as the team manager and Shane Webcke giving out the prizes. He was also a brilliant hockey player. In the photo he was wearing his red, white and blue tracksuit and looked frail but happy. All of us who knew Simon and loved him wish he was as old as us now.

Yes there’s so many people who’ve had their lives sadly cut short. Years ago I had two work friends who passed away in their 30s, one from cancer, the other a neurological disease. Last year another ex work colleague passed away from a heart attack and he was only a few years older than me. Also having lost both Mum and Dad over the past few years you start to realise how much you need to enjoy life while you can.

You said RWB was replying to something she mysteriously knew about despite the fact she has people on ignore. I was simply advising you there was no mystery about her actually knowing as she was replying directly to my message which I posted on here for all to see. Is that as clear as mud?

I really think if you were to look with open eyes at the situation in its entirety the person you know I'm speaking of has manipulated the situation and conversation to her needs simply because she didn't agree with a statement I made and an answer to her question .I treated this person with all due respect prior to this even with warning from others to her manipulative ways .She blows her own trumpet constantly and tries to gain sympathy with her constant woe is me going on. I fail to believe that anyone could possibly have the amount of people in there life that have had reactions to the vaccine that she has had .It seems that not only has she had the bad luck that friends family and colleagues have had near death experiences from the vaccine that she seems to have never met anyone that hasn't .I'm not an uncaring ogar that you may think because of this but merely a extremely sinacle person that believes he and other are being conned .Sorry just calling it as I see it .And as for Rented suspecting that the lady is watching and not blocking as she states , I strongly believe that as well .If it strikes like a snake chances are it's a snake .

I'm sorry for your losses MR and I agree with you wholeheartedly. Every day we grow older is a privilege and I'm glad you are a goddess of 1967 like me. Rose Byrne even starred in that movie..

Thanks again for letting me know about the ageist comments as all that did was lead me to finding Simon's photos with my godfather so now I can in turn share those with my family. Something lovely has come out of it for me this evening.

It's quite surreal seeing guys I went to school with wearing red white and blue jerseys..with the Warwick Cowboys logo on them of course..some of them went onto to playing with the Broncos and Cowboys in the early days of those clubs being formed.

Have a lovely evening MR and enjoy the game tomorrow. Warwick is the town across from Toowoomba where we are playing tomorrow. My worlds are colliding but in a very happy way.

1908, I’m really sorry you feel that way but do realise you mean what you say. I do not believe you are an uncaring ogre at all but I do think you and RWB had a bit of a clash a while back which was a result of some poor communication and it seems to have just gone way downhill from there. Words were said and they were kind of abusive and it’s sad that it’s come to this as you both got on so well prior to this event I thought. I also remember that some bad things were said about you by another poster at this time which were very wrong.

Your grammar is fine and really I’m not the condescending type at all. But I am as I said a pedantic perfectionist and a bit anal retentive about proper punctuation - ask my daughter who asks me to proof read her schoolwork all the time! She just laughs off my pedantic ways and says I must have some form of OCD. Anyway can you please give up the second persona as it was ‘he’ who I spoke to about the grammar not you. It’s very confusing and we prefer you as 1908.

As for RWB, I accept that she can’t have the vaccine. I’m pro vaccine as you know but if she’s been given medical advice that she can’t have it then she can’t. I don’t agree with her that the vaccine causes as much harm as she says but that’s her opinion. I also don’t think she is manipulative. RWB has always come across as very caring and empathetic to me. We’ve never met in real life but I believe she is a very kind and caring person so I disagree with you completely there.

Your grammar and punctuation are fine but not perfect. I have graduate degrees.

Good Morning MR It's not actually my opinion. It's the feedback given to me by my managers explaining to me why my workload has now tripled as I now have to cover for the work colleagues who are unable to log in and work even though we are all at home. They have had bad reactions and are currently unable to work and we have deadlines to meet. This is all factual, none of this is my opinion. I'm doing my bit as a team player by doing everything I can to help them work wise as the last thing they need is more stress when they do log back whenever that will be. I cover for my work colleagues if they are unwell, regardless of what the cause of the illness is and frankly it's none of my business but the team were very open in sharing this information in case others get the same reaction as it's happening to a few people we work with. Like I said before, people need to plan ahead and be prepared to expect the best but prepare for the worst. Not everyone gets paid sick leave in their jobs as some people get paid hourly rates and some get paid daily. The appointments are booked in advance as we all know but the reactions and side effects are not something everyone had been prepared for. It's not just a day or two as the media like to make out. It can be much longer for some people. It seems it's ok to scare people about Covid but the side effects of the vaccine for some people should not be minimised, mocked or sneered at either. 2 other forum members have both shared stories about young men in their 20's they both know of experiencing reactions so bad they had to be hospitalised. They have my sympathies too and I find this quite disturbing. I hope both young men make a full recovery and can lead happy healthy positive lives just like I would say if they had Covid. What sort of a society have we become when we pick and choose which unwell people get sympathy and support and which get mocked at?
As for what you said about Rooster1908, I just feel sad reading your post MR but you put everything beautifully so thank you for your kind words. I choose to think of the good things I shared with him prior to all of this happening. He did ask me for Lotto numbers once and I did say I like the numbers 4 and 8. 28 is another that springs to mind and my other tip for this year is the Brisbane Lions. So good luck with everything and I hope he and his family stay well and be happy.

I have made a career out of correcting punctuation and grammar. I actually get paid to do this as an Internal Auditor which is my job title. So keep on doing it MR. The world needs us. I remember reading a bumper sticker years ago:

Bad spellers of the world, untie!

I agree 100% that RWB can't be vaccinated which is a shame for anyone that can't .It's the rest of the exaggerated stuff that I am not a fan of .
