  • Are you vaccinated?

I need to get my arse into gear and get the jab. I think I will book myself in today. I've been putting it off and waiting to see what happens. How about others?

I'll wait until the results from the human trials are in. Kudos to you Voodoo man for volunteering.

in progress so far the ratio of people dying from covid v people dying from vaccines is hundreds of thousands to one and when you get vaccinated your chances of dying from covid are reduced by thousands.

You getting it in the ass? Most I've seen have been to the upper arm.

me too - not even pain in the arm. and yeah, cos part of the message was 'if you get side effects - don't worry, that's just the vaccine doing its job' the q arises - if i don't get side effects does that mean the vaccine isn't doing it's job? but dr google says it's nothing to worry about.

Well the week leading up to the big lockdown that happened in 2020 i had a flu that knocked me for six- like it was that bad i moved into our granny flat to keep away from the kids (not as much the wife)- easily the worst flu i ever had. I rode it for the week the lockdown happened & got tested the week after-which came back negative for Covid- although they didnt really know if i had the flu or Covid the weeks before.

So i had a theory that when i got the Astra vaccine if i didnt get side effects then i must have had Covid and built up antibodies. I ran my theory past the GP and he said it doesnt work like that....but bloody hell what do GP's know? Anyhow see what happens for the second shot- i know 1 thing, whether it was just a flu or Covid i had last year i dont want it again- it was real bad

Sounds like you had it for sure. Too bad they can't easily check if you have anitibodies.

Wife has booked in next Saturday and I will go the next week. I can get a half day off work as well. I hope I don't get bad side effects.

Don’t worry 08, the vaccine won’t connect you to the interweb
COVID-19 vaccines do not – and cannot – connect you to the internet. Find out more below.
                      ..it’ll be interesting to see

i had a bad bout of flu that knocked me for 6 a few years back and always get the fluvac now. maybe you had covid but i'm pretty sure i haven't had covid yet and i didn't have any reaction to the jab. when i got it they said half of all people don't get any reaction.

No , the so called benign tumour , not sure the name eats bone and tissue , they removed it , rebuilt a bone , made a new ear drum but didn't work.buy they did stop and remove they growth and almost 3 years all good so happy with the result anyway .Death in one ear is way better than blind like some poor buggers
