The police it is their job that what they sign up for. I added to that previous comment about what happened when I saved a drunken backpacker in the surf. I went to save him but as it looked like he may pull me down with him Id have backed away and waited for the lifeguards Fortunately he heeded my warning and calmed down and I got him to shore. If it were a child, I definately see it through to the end no matter what, but a drunken backpacker not swimming between the flags on a dangerous day in the surf at Bronte thats another matter.

They do sign up for it , as do soldiers , nurses , doctors , ambulance officers , firefighters, .The list is long my friend but not just people who sign up for it.I think you need to give humanity more credit .There is a hell of a lot of good people out there

People round here are all wearing their masks outside. I don't get it. Even NSW Health said there are no recorded transmissions outdoors. At least NSW has never mandated mask wearing outdoors, like other jurisdictions.

Inside maybe...although some experts are saying they dont help wherever worn, and may well hinder.

I’ve thought about getting my second dose sooner but will wait to see if things stay ok here in Canberra for a bit longer. I’m 5 weeks away from my second as of tomorrow.

there are arguments both ways i guess, mr. being in canberra makes a difference and i don't think it's clear cut whether it's better to wait or get it now.
i'm happy i've done it and i'm going to keep my head down for the next fortnight to let the vaccine work - on the morning i got it i did enough shopping for two weeks!

Make sure you get out and about for some fresh air vitamin d and some exercise Just as important as laying low. Wear your mask if you feel vulnerable.
