I am bagging the selfish perversion of Capitalism. Making people believe they are getting richer when they are actually getting poorer. Both parties do it.

The trouble is, Fitzy, that can change in a short period of time.
Remember that little nut case, Howard? He was out of control at one point because he had control of the senate.

Who said I read "newspapers"? I read a couple of UK political blogs, including Spiked (although I need a shower afterwards) and most have decent things to say about Cameron, his minority government and austerity measures. I must say the general language of political blogs in the UK is far more decent overall. They are an unpassionate lot when it comes to politics...we could learn something.

100% agree mate. They both use personal debt as the wool pulled over the eyes.

Bullshit. Youve read teh SMH for too long. Tones aint that bad. He does a shit load to help communities. He isnt as fundy as teh left like to protray him. Dangerous is not a word that should be associated with Abbott. Agreed he isnt my choice, and neither is Turnbull. The problem with Turnbull is he has principals and a concience. Teh other issue is he is a lousy politician. he isnt cut out for it. otherwise he would be PM NOW.

But if yo want to talk dangerous.....lets look at teh current Governmnet's crop of tools who have cost lives on the domestic front and will cause hardship with their less than populist Taxes.

If yo want to talk dangerous, look no further than the ****ing Greens. I would vote Latham as a PM before I ventured anywhere near a Green check box.

David Cameron was quoted only last week saying " business is the most powerful force for social progress the world has ever known ".

Not education, health, democracy or justice but business.

              Hardly a socialist

You don't think Abbott's rejection of the abortion drug RU-486 as health minitser was based on religious dogma?

Oh puhlease! You're still not trying to make a case against the government for the deaths of the workers installing the insullation are you? Please tell you're not that dumb melon?

Unsafe work practices killed those people, not some half arsed conspiracy theory.

Name one piece of legislation that the greens have introduced to parliment that's been detrimental to the Australian way of life?

Yeah I know long bow about Boat Deaths and electric shocks.....I guess we can stop blaming Howard for killing Diggers in Iraq? Or do we continue blaming Gillard and Rudd for dead diggers in Afghanistan? Where does it end?

On the Greens, I oppose what they stand for. Their policy stance on Death Taxes, Inheritence taxes, ist out right robbery. Thier free for all assistance to lying cheats that fake their assylum status at the expense of homeless australians.

If I spend a lifetime working and building something I want to leave to my kids, who the **** are the Greens to say I must must be taxed out of their inheritence. I can understand socialism, Im even pretty central and probably just only to the right of centre so I agree with some socialist aspects. But the Green's extreme wealth redistribution with complete disregard to the people that made that wealth and the sacrifices some (yes I know not all) made is sickening. The expectation from Bob Brown that I must work for nothing to provide those that refuse to work is outlandish.

**** the Greens. The fact Labor is in bed with them is horrible.

The Greens are worse than Cancer. Worst of all they are hypocritical arseholes to the extreme. I dont see Bob giving up his gas guzzling commonwealth car....and then again why should he he is entitled to it. But he should stop the lectures on emissions. he may gain a drop of credibility if he did.

Supporting a Carbon Tax and Mining Tax will only be detrimental to jobs in this country. You dont need to be an economist, rocket scientist, pacifist or mega tycoon to know that. The Greens are driving those policies. Hence Gillard's lie. She said no and I reckon she meant it at the time as I think she believed to have the numbers at teh time, and then got bent over by Brown when she didnt and is now pushing forward with a destructive tax that will achieve nothing for the world's temperatures. All to be PM.

But thats an argument we wont have here. See power corrupts many capitalists....that corruption is compounded when it works on those idealists like the Greens and the extreme Left.

I have no idea why the abortion drug was not approved by Abbott. Maybe it was his religious beliefs....maybe it was the combined sum of the cabinet's opinion. Maybe their electorates didnt want it. What was the sentiment from the constituents?
Maybe medical safety or side effects came into the equation. I dont know Im not privvy to the reasons nor have I seen the evidence for or against the drug. Anything is possible.

But a man that was training to be a priest and left it for Politics is anything but a religious zealot.

The man is a shark...like any other politician.

Fair enough. But just on Abbott, the Libs removed him as health minister over his stance on RU-486. That speaks volumes. If you had read the link I provided you would see even the AMA came out in support of the drug. Abbott was quoted saying something about "after affects" as to why he wasn't approving the drug while having no medical evidence to back up his claims.

And recently Abbott was quoted as stating Carbon Dioxide is a "colourless, odourless, weightless particle...". Yeah that's called "nothing" Tony! Farkin moron.

The bloke is anti science, anti medicinal, anti progressive, anti social. He's firmly planted in the 1800's and if he's elected leader of this country that's exactly where we'll be heading.

                    Chook.

Which is exactly what they would have been accused of if they replaced Gillard with Rudd yesterday. Opinion polls FMD!! The Australian electorate liked a PM that wasn't getting the job done properly...just goes to show how utterly farking retarded the Australian electorate is. And they'll confirm that retardedness by voting for Abbott next time round.

Yep, just goes to show the type of people they aimed the 2007 campaign squarely at. The kiddies. The kiddies fell for the catchy campaign slogan and the facebook bombarment. They had NO idea what they were voting for... oops sorry... 'change'. Where did that change get them? A PM hated by his own party and a 'drop in' PM hated by the country.
