I stayed up and watched it but as i had to work the next day i only got to the end of the second set before i went to bed at one set all, was great to wake up and hear she had won, i recorded the ending before i went to bed and watched the last set and presentation when i got home from work, even though i knew the result i teared up at the end, it was amazing. I remember also sitting up 41 years and watching Evonne beating Chris Evert in 1980 final.

No pyss mate. I reckon its a HUGE achievement. I also stayed up very very late that night to watch PCash. Still remember it fondly. Sadly these days kids just don't have the same appreciation for history makers and unless its on TikTok, rarely even matters to them.

Thanks Zac, yes saw this on the news, love how the dog is asleep and is woken up when Ash's father jumps up and everyone cheers and screams

Watching the US open last night and thinking what a loss to tennis Ash is. There’s just not enough class and humility left in the game now.
