2500 cases, zero deaths. Similar numbers in Melbourne last year and there were 20 to 30 deaths every day when there were no vaccines.
One can only conclude the vaccines work.

It's all about the economy - open up and get the reddies in the till as governments both Fed/State and Territory are short of dosh and have to keep borrowing more or issue more government bonds to cover the shortfall from decreased taxation revenue.

The WA economy has grown 5.7 per cent since the start of the coronavirus pandemic....and had a 5.6 billion dollar surplus. Also has a death count of a whooping 9.

Personally i think McGowan should keep the hard border.....no better excuse for not being able to visit the family every year

When Covid first hit and of course there was no vaccine then we had to lockdown & state and Fed governments did a great job

When Delta hit we had a vaccine but the Fed government was caught napping with distribution and also quarantine....so into lockdown we had to go-no choice

Now in NSW we have choices,vaccine,masks,social distancing, go out/stay home- whatever you like or don't like-it's up to you. Most had masks on at the Edgecliff centre today- a few didn't- choices!

So i'm all for Perrottet opening everything up. The government can re-evaluate as we go along- nothing is set in stone.

I agree-those numbers tell a story. Take away the vaccine rollout i think every government has done a great job under the circumstances. However if you don't agree then take it to the ballot box on election day-whether it be state of federal.
