And now the new Covid variant from South Africa, said to possibly be more contagious than Covid Delta and maybe not covered by the current vaccines.
Has already spread to Hong Kong, Israel, Belgium.
This could mean that all our players etc are "unvaccinated".
WHO has named this mutating variant "OMICRON".

USA has restricted travel from South Africa and 7 other nations.
Many other countries have done the same, but not Australia.
Time to do it, now...before it gets here.

Omicron here, with no vaccine?...the NRL will be back where it started in 2020...bubbles, empty stadiums, a TV game again.

My years in uni and nursing - studying disease aetiology and vaccination (and then caring for seriously unwell and palliative patients) have been a total waste of my time.
When all along I should have just gone on social media, liaised with the Ill-informed, actual SCIENCE discounting fringe-dwelling ignorami, and everything would have turned out peachy.
Im off to start a Facebook and twitter account, and read a few NON peer reviewed hearsay papers (by “Dr” Crackhead of the university of life), on how vaccines are a massive government conspiracy to control us all and throw taxpayers money at pharma companies.

All our players could die. Most likely from side effects of taking unproven vaccines than a virus whose reported victims have an average age of 84 . The only thing proven about the sacred vaccine is that it doesn't prevent anyone catching the virus and it doesn't prevent them passing it on. So mandating that healthy young people must take it is not only stupid but dangerous. Go jab yourself, multiple times. Don't forget the booster, and ofcourse the new varaint, COMICON, will need a whole new set of jabs.

Well then, maybe u should have said "My Wifes friend's husband got covid" from the get go instead of starting your fairy tale with your kid. The biggest whopper of your fairy tale is the "4 hospitals turning away a supposedly covid patient".

No hospital can or would turn away a hospital patient with a serious issue otherwise they would be sued for discrimination or loss of life. On an extremely rare occasion if a hospital were full then either the hospital or even the patient would call another hospital to see if space...so no way would this patient be turned away from 4 hospitals....we are all not that gullible.

Funny that the Ebola virus didn't make it out of Africa and it just disappeared after a yr or two without anyone getting jabbed.
