Pretty much this. All these vaccinated people testing positive probably have a sore throat or minor headache.

I'm at a distinct advantage to most of the population. I've been involved in practical science, including a better than working knowledge of immunology, for my entire life. I have no fear of the Coof because I know what is needed to protect myself. I haven't had it yet, as far as I know, but I know being doubly vaccinated (and getting the booster in February) will protect me more.

The people who aren't getting it aren't anti-vaxxers or vaccine hesitant, they're just frigging morons. And they're going to start to drop like flies now they're allowed out and about. I bet you'll see a big spike in vaccinations once we hit 2000+ positive swabs a day.

Must be something in the Vaxx working...My son was out clubbing on Saturday night and one of his mates with him tested positive after getting crook on the following monday all my son and his mates tested negative as also my family as we had to get tested thought we all caught it thought my son for sure.
Strangely the same kid with covid went out with my sons mates to watch a UFC fight at the local club the next day and all tested negative.The kid is not doing well either ..struggling since yesterday. PS my uncle died from it a moth ago...he got his second Vax the day before he got it.

Agreed mate. Heck I saw somebody arguing that swabs used for testing were designed to kill people by injecting toxins into their brains. There's some nutty stuff out there for sure.

Meanwhile, my wife's side of the family is sitting in Vietnam where they've got money, but the health system's over-burdened so you often can't get a ventilator, even if you get really sick. Nobody's got time to sit around cooking up conspiracy theories and dragging their legs about vaccines 'coz... mah free-dums'.

IMO refusing while making a massive fuss about it to all and beyond (while boosters are being poured down the drain when they're unused) is a position of entitlement. I think it's mostly a matter of trolls seeking attention by making a fuss out of a non-issue.

What's important is that the vaccine will greatly reduce the hospitalization rate amongst the highly vulnerable.

Other than that it might be best to stop worrying about it, bb. Delta, Omicron, Megatron, Optimus Prime variant. Who cares. Protect yourself and just go about your life as normal.

The virus is doing exactly what its supposed to do-spread and mutate. The vaccine is doing exactly what its supposed to do- stop the majority (not all!) from getting seriously sick and cut down the death rate.

It seems to me that there are a lot of people who just cant let this Covid business go. You might want to look into that as it is still around. It is one of the seasonal flu's that comes around each year. Covid-19 won't ever go away, it's just likely to continue to mutate like other flu's into a less serious form over time.
