The ‘Bubble’ will no doubt be in place again this season. I’m hoping with so many Sydney based teams that it’s in Sydney rather than Queensland. I’d be devastated if I wasn’t able to attend games.

Maybe they could do a conference style thing where they have a NSW and a Queensland bubble. Two conferences of 8 teams. Each team in each conference plays each other twice. And then they could re-assess come Round 15. It wouldn’t be fair for one state to get the opportunity of live game and another miss out.

Either way I’m hoping the NRL is working on a different plan to basing all teams and playing all games in Queensland.

Covid is bad and I would be shocked if the players were not in the bubble this year, It would also be devastating not being able to attend games in 2022 for a second year in a row.

Covid is going to play a big role in the 2022 season, the nrl should figure out a way of playing in multiple states at once during the pandemic.

I hope that all teams can play at their home grounds and players won’t be affected by Covid.

I know it's against the current Government policy, but I think we've got to start living more with the virus strains, rather than staying under the doona.

Very high Vax rates, majority mild or no symptoms, covid safe education already drilled into players and loved ones.

I use the example of the common cold. Over the years players still went on BAU with it and no doubt passed it on. No isolation or extra restrictions occurred and life went on.

I don't think so. Government is actively attempting to obfuscate the Covid status. I would not be surprised if by kick off time the PCR tests are abolished, no more bubble requirement, just a RAT test on game day and minimal isolation period. By finals time they won't even require the RAT tests.

What I don't understand is why we don't let everyone catch Omicron, get antibodies and move on from this nightmare. We are almost all vaccinated. I thought the idea was we are still going to catch it eventually but it just won't kill us. Lets get on with it already.

I think he is right. We need to move on. The virus can't be contained. It will make its way into every place eventually. Omicron is mild and if you get it you get all the antibodies. I have no idea though. I'm just ready to move on.
