So, a physician in Africa says she had patients with mild common cold symptoms that alarmed her that maybe it was a new Covid variant, and led to discovery of new variant . . . say what?!
They have never isolated Covid, but they can isolate new variants . . . say what?!

Within 3-4 days of discovery, they miraculously have a test to identify the new variant . . . say what?!
Not only do they have the new test for the new variant, they have it available all over the world . . . say what?!

Then, a plane leaves South Africa where all passengers were tested for Covid before boarding and were negative. The plane lands in Johannesburg and 10% of the passengers miraculously have the Omicron variant (tests beat them there from South Africa). . . say what?!

Of course, by the time the plane landed, the world had also determined the Omicron variant is more infectious than other variants; children particularly susceptible; and the vaccines does not provide protection against Omicron. Wow!!! Say what?!
Of course, the pharma companies also already determined they could come out with a new vaccine targeting Omicron in 30-60 days. . . say what?! I could go on, but the ****ery is simply never ending.

Yes, how did they do it? All those passengers had to be double vaccinated and tested BEFORE they boarded that aircraft, yet a whole pile of them allegedly had this Omicron variant within some hours. The same goes for those passengers who flew in to Australia with this Omicron variant. They had to be double vaccinated and tested, yet they were allegedly infected with this new variant on arrival in Australia.

If you had any mathematics ability , you say 95 % are vaccinated and 53 deaths. Therefore of the total 53 deaths only 2 -3unvaccinated should have died...unfortunately 13 died 6 times as many as the vaccinated death rate. Vaccines saved lives.

You quoted deaths and infections in Jan 21 and compare infections and deaths to now . The jan 21 was before the new strain. The only point you are correct on is that it is less deadly.. However a small percentage of a huge number of infections is still a lot of hospitalisations. 2,500 in nsw hospitals is a large number. Yes most will recover, but had they stayed home there would have been more deaths. Paramedics and ambos don't take patients to hospital just for the free ride. Nor do hospital staff keep patients in there just to increase their work load. Choose to believe fake news from Google and your perspective will remain warped.
