Very unfortunate for the poor guy. I’m sure that sort of thing happens often.

        • Paddo I get the WMD lie and all. It’s a very valid point. What I don’t get is how you 100% don’t trust the Americans in anything but have utter and complete faith in whatever Russia claims as fact.

          • Well Putin addressed the unfortunate plane accident saying Yevgeny Prigozhin was "a man of difficult fate, but talented" and sent his condolences to his family. That clears his involvement!

Maybe you should spend more of your emotion on behalf of Julian Assange who is certainly facing a Hell on Earth?

And MR I don't mention Russia other than to share the view that it has a legitimate security concern. I don't know much about it to be frank but I certainly don't subscribe to the US version of it.

Very touching. A man of great empathy and clearly misunderstood.

Maybe you should focus more on finding out about it and Putin then.

                  • Oh yeah...Putin's the problem, as was Saddam, Castro, Ho Chi Minh, numerous African and South American leaders and Whitlam for that matter. Wake up and wise up! Didn't Uni teach you to think things through?

Maybe you should take your own advice though as you just admitted you don’t know much about Russia.

Like everyone else I don't know a lot about Putin because there is no reliable objective info about him in the West apart from the Oliver Stone interviews and the writings of Professor Sachs, just a US inspired propaganda blizzard is what we have. I certainly couldn't credit your opinion.

Aah I get it now. I should have been posting my comments in ism's thread not this one.

                          • Comrade Paddo will no doubt say his other "hero's" in Stalin and Mao were not bad fellows at all - they were just misunderstood by the big bad West

However bad the West is in Comrade Paddo's mind he still resides in the West

Still can't figure that one out - it's some what like working in a job you hate - most would find another one

Your Taxi to the airport is covered - Russia / China / North Korea awaits

                            • Oh give it a rest King.
History is the litany of violent change because each epoch is marked by the suppression of classes. The American bourgeois revolution was violent, the bourgeoisie suppressed by the English monarchy. No ruling class voluntarily gives up power. What we are living in is the rise of a new order and the decline of an old but powerful one and there is an ocean of blood yet to be spilled (the Ukes are just one of the first cabs off the rank). We, in OZ, need not be a part of that because we're to fcukery away from the rest but as things are we are backing a loser trying to hang on to its world hegemony.

In the event of change anyone who is a player on the losing side can expect not a lot of good to happen, that's the nub of it.

                              • Whoah there Colt.. whoah boy. Hold up. That’s not how the movie goes! The Americans are good guys who save the day against forces of evil. We should be glad they’ve chosen our land to set up camp in, especially when they’re bringing their big pwanes and thubs. It doesn’t matter if they’re nuclear powered, or even better, nuclear armed. We Aussies love bombs.

                                Who remembers Gelegnite Jack?
It couldn’t be our Jack, could it?
