Aaaah the gift that keeps on giving. Those who are not convinced that I was right all along (i.e. the pro Russian cr@p is right-wing BS tied to them bailing out Trump during his 6 bankruptcies) and you can get it from none other than News Ltd.

There's a reason why I got into law school. My research/analytical skills may be a little bit more highly developed than your average schoolteacher. That's not a sledge! My kids' teachers do a great job putting up with their sass and wise cracks (while pretending to teach a couple of trilingual brainiacs a thing or two along the way). However, most of their learning comes from their work at home (including international travel) as opposed to old mate's pro-Russian chalk and talk. I picture he'd rock up to school with a MAGA cap and his red tie dragging right down to his balls. Seriously... happy to have political freedom and there's a valid place for principled right-wingers. However anybody who's getting onboard with Vlad and Trump without even the smallest piece of skepticism about what they're saying is a dead set muppet.

Which is fine! I loved watching the Muppets as a kid, and can see parallels between our old mates & Statler/Waldorf (maybe there's a bit of Miss Piggy and Kermit thrown in there too). However, muppets should stick to childminding, boasting about some stupid Ladbrokes horse and strutting around in fur coats. Geopolitics ain't really your thing

                  Kind regards,

PS - since China and Vietnam keep coming up in this thread, old mate should visit Vietnam some time! Fascinating country and I have lotsa fun there every year (lotsa family over there). It's not a little China though (or anti-western like old mate's hoping). Lots of its tourist sites have info about how China's contesting a fark load of its land and has blatantly stolen parts (including parts of the heritage listed Ha Long Bay... for drilling, not eco tourism). Like here... beautiful islands. And heeeere... Chairman Xi Jinping has decided that the CCP (which has only existed for about 50 years) is part of a 50,000 year dynasty that owns Vietnam, the Philippines, East Kyrgistan, Singapore, Malaysia, (parts of) Russia and various countries that were setup quite intentionally to avoid being governed by it (including Taiwan, Hong Kong, Mongolia and the like... some of which have been taken by force).

Other than Trump's farcical ramblings about trying to take Greenland (that bloke's seriously a screw... eeerm... no... a supporting beam loose), I'm yet to see evidence of western countries contesting borders and invading countries. Peacekeeping troops and poorly planned missions with political objectives (e.g. preventing terrorist groups and expansionary dictatorships from opportunistically taking over during chaotic periods... sure)! However Russia progressively trying to steal parts of Ukraine because it refuses to install a puppet government and... shock... horror... wants to be part of Europe and NATO instead of Russia? Sorry but you can't even use the 'US propaganda' argument there now as Trump's on Russia's side. As I have consistently stated... this is about the democracy versus expansionism. If anybody doesn't think Russia's trying to expand their borders into Ukraine's then they clearly need to lay off the psychotics.

                    • Sal, I keep telling you that posting from right wing sites is unconvincing. Anything coming out of the Murdoch media stable should be viewed as being highly dubious as far as truth is concerned.

On a lighter note and more related to your strengths, have you watched the Volkster in the halves at Parra? He's done nothing wrong without really impressing and it looks as though his role is restricted to kicking in Moses' absence. At the same time it's hard to see Brown's playmaker value. Hopefully, as things are going, we might see a bit more enterprise from the ex Paddington Colt.
