Minus Western propaganda what's the real story on the Ukraine?
As I’ve explained oh Mighty One. I mostly prefer to edit the posts to which I reply. Why reprint bulk nonsense? But it’s comforting to have you on my case.
You edit poster’s replies? Sounds like the sort of dodgy thing an MSM journo would do.
Yeah, except that it’s deliberately misleading. What is edited out is stuff on a different topic to that which my response concerns, obviously. She’s a sly little minx that one, always looking for a chink in the white satin armour. And after all the gallantry and concern on my part, this is the thanks I get?
Why not explain the benefits of Conservative policy making to the forum Jax? Maybe the NBN, the tax benefits of real estate investment or Robodebt would be a good places to start but I doubt that any have had extensive coverage on Sky. Or any coverage at all.

Hmm. True but let’s not forget the multiple lectures. Not to mention this proves the point that you are selective in only responding to aspects you think you can pick apart, while ignoring those you have been proven to be wrong in.
No Ms Mighty. It’s sorta like highlighting. If a post rattles on a bout several issues and one requires a response then the irrelevant is consigned to the ether. Too hard to get your head around?
What might seem like “lectures” could also be called responses and, often they need to be detailed to make the point clear. Maybe you’re confusing me with the King? Same goes for the “proven to be wrong” comment, I think that Kingo and Ismbard are much more relevant on that score.
* Horrace, stick to the music posts buddy. You don’t wanna get involved here pal. Look at how badly Rocky has fared, Poor fella is reduced to gibberish.

Oh Paddo, I can get my head around it. But context and what is and isn’t relevant depends on one’s perspective lol.
Propaganda is when you invade a neighbouring country to try and take it 'back' because you disagree with their longstanding independence (largely because it fits your image of being a strongman 'nationalist'). You then call it a 'special operation' and murder those who call it a war, while claiming they 'had an unfortunate accident' (or similar).
An argument to moderation claiming that 'western media' doesn't give Chinese/Russian/North Korean/Saudi Arabian...etc state propaganda a fair run' is the only thing that's ludicrous around here. Trying to find a mid-point between common knowledge and pure propaganda coming out of a dictatorship is not a useful task.
Comrade Paddo loves to channel some of his Marxist heroes from the past with his anti-Western capitalist gibberish, but the majority can see right through this tokenism.
The so-called scattergun multiple-issue posts are part of his deflection tactic to avoid being pinned down on any one issue as well. We can all see he has very limited knowledge, if any, of anything he posts.
A recent classic example is Comrade Paddo saying Russia is capitalist because McDonalds is there—not that he knew much about the Russian economy, he also admitted.
McDonald's pulled out of Russia in 2022, closing all its restaurants.
Comrade Paddo needs to increase his sources of information to keep up to date on what really is happening, as the Menadue's Malarkey and Full Moon over Alabama Marxist sites he frequents will only tell him what they think he needs to know as well as how and what to think.
Blah...blah...blah. How was I to know McDonalds had come a gutser over there? Just shows how much smarter they are. Anyway, hardly a knockout punch in the general scheme of things.
* And Mighty Vixen. "context" what context? If a post starts with apples and then switches to oranges and one wants to respond only to apples part, is it not appropriate to edit out the oranges? Ah, I dunno. Yez can see how hard it was at times in the classroom.
* Ismbard. Ditto Mighty Mouse. Also I do try "to keep up to date on what really is happening" which is why I don't bother with western MSM. At the risk of dispelling your fantasy world, you should do the same,
From that bolshie Menadue site, Chas Freeman, formerly a US Diplomat writes:
Come on resorting to name calling. With ‘context’ I’m referring to the instances where in response to a discussion on say apples, I will give 6 arguments of which 5 are clearly excellent and hard do be countered and the other one may open an opportunity to detour into a discussion about bananas. So editing out the five excellent points while taking the opportunity to focus on the remaining point allows a quick diversion away from the original topic thus changing the context. Some would call this deflection and it’s an art many MSM journos are very good at.
But I have a feeling I’m not going to win this debate, so I’ll declare now.

Giving someone the last word is not losing the debate MR. With some of our contributors here, they will always want the last word, however irrelevant. Sometimes saying your bit and withdrawing is winning.
