Apart from those meatheads at the tennis in the T-shirts, we're not hearing much at all from our China hate MSM on the "plight" of tennis star Peng Shuai, not since her recent interview with Singapore media with no Chinese "officials" present. Turns out that the sexual assault was no more than her being dumped after a long term consensual affair with a prominent Government official much older than she - no house arrest, no assault, no Communist Party pressure just an understandably bruised ego. Will we hear an apology or a retraction? Not likely, not from our lying, distorting, warmongering media that's for sure.
The fault, really, lies with us, with our gullibility, our indifference and complacency. America is our friend? The friend that quickly picked up our lost Chinese markets after we'd slandered our largest trading partner with our running dog behaviour.
As Bertrand Russell famously observed "Most people would rather die than think and they do......(nuclear) war is not about who's right but who's left".
