Me and the cupboard go way back.
I wonder if "trewhella" remembers shit as well as I do?

After losing JT ..........it kinda puts stuff into perspective.

I know Trew was one of the originals.................going back to season 2000 on the wall.
Remember him lecturing Melon on this.

          Sad . I guess..........

But I remember stuff as well, and the chookpen suffices for social interaction.

          Thanks dr centrelink

          Eddie is still tough.

          Love you trew

I'm not ashamed to say I'm terrified of getting Covid. I already know what it's like to be in the respiratory ward at Vinnies from 20 years ago and I have no intentions of ever going back. I have a super sensitive system and bruise & faint easily, am allergic to just about everything and everyone and have no intentions of wanting to find out what it feels like, let alone get long Covid side effects like vertigo (which I already suffer from anyway) brain fog and breathing difficulties. I can't drink or eat wheat and can't stand lights, yelling or noise. Last night I went to Coles 3 doors up after the game as I don't think it's fair to ask them to deliver a carton of eggs with my home delivery and not expect them to get smashed as the drivers are overworked as it is. I came back and complained to Horrie Hastings that people were just getting in my way and it was triggering my migraine again plus it's just mighty annoying..hell is other people... Andy's right in saying it's too nice a day to be on the computer but I'm still wobbly from yesterday and feeling fragile from getting sick just from that so no one hour walking around Heartbreak Hill for me today..there is always tomorrow..

So no thanks to getting Covid just because it's apparently inevitable.

There is a certain comforting familiarity with message boards when you have known the contributers for such a long time.
Even though I have not met many of you oldies I always find myself contemplating the opinions of long term members with fondness.

              I remember everything Eddie.
I was doing another degree and I used the UNI computers to connect in 1998 1999….on the roosters official website.
It was truly awesome to meet others who shared my love of Easts when we had been so terrible for so long.

Andrew Walker goes back but not as far as that I think
Jack’s Fur Coat has become another member I enjoy reading. He was post 2000 I believe as well.
                  JT was OG as well

I had only started feeling confident in not wearing a mask in my work place again because honestly wearing a mask for 6-8 hours straight does affect your breathing but watching people in the shop over the last few days coughing and spluttering everywhere with no attempt to cover their mouths while it is happening has got me back in the habit of wearing it most of the times at work again.

So glad I'm not going into the office even thought Monday is our team's only dedicated day. Another Covid case reported last Thursday wandering around my team area during an afternoon tea (they have a desk for me, but I don't have any plans on going in any time soon) and now more people are sick. I'm still feeling off the planet and 3 of us were all rugged up on our Monday video call, 2 of them coughing badly and one off with Covid also..I'm just on my lunch break so going to post some more songs and then go to another video meeting.

The first couple of days it was coughing and sneezing with me and the third day it was the fever , the high temperature only lasted a day but then the next few days were just aches and pains and general tiredness on the way back to the other side of feeling getting back to normal.

Lets see for me Day 1 woke up tickly throat tea and toast went and trained in my garage downstairs and went for a run felt ok. By 4pm I knew, tired hit and fever came up not too bad but I knew this was it. It was fever headache tiredness day 2 and 3 but not feeling really ill just off. Day 4 dizziness woke up the whole room was spinning stood up felt like I might fall had to hold the wall Made myself some tea and had another sleep woke up feeling ok gthe dizziness gone. Recently I had a very similar experience to that after nine and a half months of not drinking then having 9 schooners and one middy of stone and wood. The only difference was waking up two hours later after that and I did not feel much better. Then the last two days was a disgustingly horrid sore throat So sore I could not swallow unless I ate or drank. By day 7 I was fine Forcing me to use a two litre pepsi bottle for my spittle as opposed to swallowing Nobody near mne caught it and when there turn came nobody near them caught it. Seperate turns very strange illness which affects people differently
