I love US politics. It's such a clear demonstration of the systemic corruption of western politics and how the corporations run the show from behind the scenes.

Gingrich is old school = fat, useless, Washington, windbag, but at least you know what to expect.
Santorum is the wingnut. Anti science, anti environment, anti tax, anti health care, anti woman, anti anything remotely social. The bloke is a complete fruitloop.

You want further proof of the idiocy of the US voting public - http://content.usatoday.com/communit...ma-is-muslim/1

It staggers belief that most Americans can walk upright.

        Chook.

America has a choice, between the socialist (screw it, the communist) Barack Obama and the martinet Mitt Romney. The tragedy is, that barring the few, the proud, the incredibly stupid that watch the Goebbels' inspired Fox News (damn them all to hell but Dana and Megyn) the majority of the people watch to Bill Maher, John Stewart and David Letterman and still think Barack Obama is a competent leader.

Or maybe the Zapruda film would be more appropriate.

Is it only a choice between Communism and Nazism in the U.S.?

I sadly go to the Simpsons for my rejoinder.

From the brilliant episode, Sideshow Bob Roberts.

                    Sideshow Bob -

"Because you _need_ me, Springfield. Your guilty conscience may force you to vote Democratic, but deep down inside you secretly long for a cold-hearted Republican to lower taxes, brutalize criminals, and rule you like a king."

I wish there was a youtube clip for it.

No need. Sadly I must confess to being a Simpsons tragic.
