Question (no need to reveal political preferences). What would people prefer, Easts winning or 'the other party' (i.e. one you don't want) winning.
      East's winning mate

[QUOTE=mightyrooster; I'm not sure whats happening to my quote function today but its doing crazy things.

The same thing that's happened to mine since the get go but I've told you in the past not to sweat the little things MR.

It is well documented that Murdoch's support goes to whomever looks likely after which he tries to claim credit for their win. For him business interests and tax concessions are always front of mind.

It was my understanding that the subs would be nuclear powered but use conventional weapons............

In either case it does show how stupid the Turnbull government was to sign off on the french deal.
The diesel/electric sub might have been cutting edge when it replaced those that were powered by paraffin engines.....................but it was superseded many, many years ago.
I'm sure I read somewhere that the US was to build nuclear weapons in Australia.

            Albo is, basically...well, you know.
I predict he'll go the way of Rudd, and will be replaced as PM by Shorten.

Lol thanks Paddo, I was thinking of you as it continued to stuff up. And I’ve always agreed with you on that greedy tyrant Murdoch.

Nope. The deal is for nuclear powered subs only. No nuclear weapons of any sort, and certainly not made here.
But now that the CCP governs Australia the deal will be scuppered.

Heading against the Coalition, certainly can't get majority government.

Losing the former Tory stronghold of Kooyong once held by Lib heavyweights Menzies and Peacock and with Sharma looking likely to lose Wentworth are the elites just trying to get to the afterlife without any regret?
