Yes to this. I thought it happened a few times under Howard where the Coalition won but lost the two party preferred vote.

        • Arctic ice is at a 30 yr high.

In 2007 Al Gore began warning the world that scientists were predicting that by 2013 the Arctic would be ice free during the summer.

In our part of the world, about the same time, that scientist guy warned us it was never going to rain again, or it wouldn't rain enough.
So we built a desalination plant.
It hasn't stopped raining since...except for the usual droughts.

Sorry (not), I won't be selling my old car, 'clunker' according to the climate change brigade, and buying an electric one.

My old car is in good condition...drives very well, has a simple engine, you can disconnect the battery without sending the electronics into 'dead' mode.
There's plenty of room under the bonnet, easy to work on.
No Apple Car Play/Android Auto, no Bluetooth, no controls on the steering wheel. No expensive batteries to replace, no worrying about where the next charging station is.
Just drive into the servo, fill up with petrol, and away I go.
2030 is "next week"...7 footy seasons away.
Anyone thinking we can reduce our CO2(tree and plant food) emissions by 60% by 2030 needs to have a re- think.

Made in Japan in the 'good old days', "made up to a standard...not down to a price". Before 9/11 and the world went 'crazy', 'cheap', 'financial crisis', 'climate change.

              • On Youtube there is autoexpert dot com dot au.
                John Cadogan.
His tale of being given a new electric car to review, trying to find a charging station in Canberra (the capital of climate change), stopping in Goulburn and looking for one at the rear of the large sheep statue, etc was interesting, comical some might say.
                Warning, colourful language.
Finally found a charging station,...charging, another *horror story* in itself.
Watching this video almost made my mind collapse, I almost had to run outside and scream "Nòòoooooo"! to electric cars.
