Have been to three AFL matches at the MCG and they have all been Grand Finals the Swans have featured in. Haven't looked to closely at the Swans draw down in Melbourne, an afternnon game down there at the MCG would be great. Do you know who Richmond is playing when you go MR ?

It’s against St Kilda and unfortunately it’s a night game so I hope it’s not going to be too cold. I know Melbourne gets cold. He’s been to AFL games at the MCG before including Grand Finals and we’ve been to a few together here and in Sydney against the Swans but when the kids were young I could never justify the cost of both of us flying to Melbourne.

      • Well, I was planning to take my daughter and grandkids on a 4 day cruise next year, but it got knocked on the head.
Apparently anyone 12 or over has to have had the covid vaccines , and my girl refuses to get one.
I was surprised because she keeps the kids up to date with the normal vaccines, but is dead against the covid one.
Seems every time I plan a holiday something goes wrong.

            Maybe, I can't decide.
The nurses I live with reckon I would've died if I didn't get the jabs.

I was unaware nurses had such deep knowledge after all they are not Drs

Out of interest what evidence if any did they provide to demonstrably prove this

Or was it them running their mouth off without any demonstrable evidence

Sounds like a good reason to take a domestic holiday!

You can’t take a trick with your holiday plans at the moment can you Eddie. Hopefully third time lucky. Maybe somewhere in Aus?

                  • Not making light of your holiday situation Eddie but of late with the cruise that couldn't dock anywhere late last year and over the New Year period because of the fungus growth and the person overboard on the latest cruise i would be steering away from cruises.

                    • I'm prepping to travel to Japan (Fukui) in July to see my daughter. Getting pretty excited!

Initially I agreed with my daughters stance, citing the fact that I still caught covid after having the shots and a booster, but I got shouted down.
Apparently my under lying health issues combined with the fact I had to be hospitalised proves their point.
                        Some debates I can't win.

                          I know.
I do have up until November to use my sea world tickets.

I've never been on one, so I thought it would be a good experience.
But you make a good point.

Hopefully you can use it before then.
