So is it still a good idea to book Emirates for a trip to the UK in September next year? With all the crap going on in the Middle East right now< I don't know what to do. The problem is it is the best and most efficient way to get to Glasgow, assuming the existing flight path isn't changed. But it involves a stop over in Dubai and passing by the Middle East. Who knows where the current fight will be at in 11 months time.

criticising us for not spending more time in Tokyo apart from overnight, i know that is different to your situation and a stop over in Dubai though.
I would be happy to put this trip on hold ( mainly because of costs ) but the more it is put off the harder it gets to start arranging again.

Cannot comment on Emirates and what the situation will be in 11 months but i'm sure every airline will be taking every precaution and there will be everything in place for safe air routes. Have paid our airfare for Japan Airlines, we have a stop over in Tokyo and have friends already
