Will call into the co op near South West Rocks while up there to get some whole Pearl Perch or fillets and some fresh prawns also.
Also will have dinner here one night, might even stay overnight before or after the cabin as they have a nice self contained cabin and a good dinner deal combined.

So nice to settled in in a cabin on the river for the next week. While it was fun catching up with in laws at Dungog and Taree then staying at a nice stone cabin at Hot Myrtle it is finally nice to be unpacked and not having to move around much for a week. Was just in the river having a lovely dip and thinking the last time i have time off for holidays so deep into December was 1980.
Also daydreaming in the water about next break away which will be around Feb / March time wise depending on a couple of medical appointments which i cant miss. At the moment plan to drive down to Tumut and stay a few days/ nights at a friends pub, visit Yarringobilly caves then drive through the snowies down to Bega and spend time around there and a bit further south before making our way back up the goat track which is the Princes Highway with many a stop between Eden and Ulladulla.

Was there just last week. Took a couple of days fishing. Did it on the run. Canb to Merimbula via Cooma in the morning. Fished the bridge at Merimbula for an hour with no luck so nipped up to Tathra for lunch and a fish off the warf. Hooked onto some very large salmon and had a ball wrestling with them on light gear. When they went quiet about an hour and a half later, we headed up to Bermi for a swim in the Blue Pool then took the short drive through Wallaga Lake and into Narooma for the night. Grabbed a pizza for dinner and ate it while watching the seals playing in the channel.
Up early the next day for a charter. The kings haven't quite turned up yet so we went to the snapper grounds up off Tuross and were rewarded with a great haul of good sized bump heads and mowies. We also drifted the sandy bottom on the way back for a good bag of flatties.
A great couple of days with my boys!FVCK CANCER

i also want to head up a bit further north some time to, up to Evans Head and around that area, havent been there for many a year.
Now even though i only have a small estuary rod with me i took it down to the surf beach this morning and with fresh pippies i managed two bream, not huge but legal size and beautiful clean ones so will be nice in foil on the BBQ.
Going to try the river later today.

I’ve just returned from a family trip down to Berry Lovely little spot Went to Huskinsson Club Jervis Bay We were on the lookout their for an older gentleman who may have identified himself with Roosters apparel but to no avail We also were on the lookout for isms mothers beach house but couldn’t remember exactly where that was Anyway lovely little place down that way must visit again

stayed down at Berry a few weeks ago and stayed at friends who had just built a new house there, it was a sticking hot weekend so mainly stayed in their air conditioning drinking nice wine although did wander up to the pub for a nice refreshing beer and also went for a swim at Seven Mile Beach.
