Does Vincentia have the two kind of beaches - first one where you wade out to a sand bank and the second beach - I remember getting dumped and being tossed around like clothes in a washing machine as the waves were quite big - that would have been in the early 1990's.
May have dredged it possible

Just got back from Vietnam. Have shared my experiences elsewhere but I had a positive experience this time around. Would recommend Quy Nhon to all (my father in-law's hometown) as there's a massive beach promenade with restaurants...etc and it's far more accessible than much of Vietnam (i.e. you can cross the roads and use the footpaths).
For mid-year travel I'm heading to Nippon to see my daughter. Happy to catch-up for a frothie and watch Easts play a bit of footy if anybody happens to be visiting Fukui prefecture around about that time (another place I highly recommend).
Maybe Italy at the end of the year? Just need to convince one of my cousins (who speaks much better Italian than me + visited with my dad) that she's coming along too.
---
Oi and when's RWB coming back? I know that our friend the coke snorting lawnmower man's attempts at love poetry didn't quite go the was he wanted but IMO we need to find a way forward. If anybody sees her sippin' a latte around Double Bay then please drop in a quick reminder that her travel thread's alive and well. Further, Jizzy's had more than a reasonable dose of John Menadue... the season and some more productive bantz with the old crew couldn't come sooner.

The group wanted to go into Husky again on the Sunday for breakfast, the markets were on at the sports ground, i have been to the markets before probably about 8-9 years ago and before that probably 20 years ago, they hadn't changed , pretty crap overall. Had breakfast at Angels Bayside cafe and it was very nice although they did mix one breakfast up but they quickly rectified it, one of the girls didn't like her scrambled eggs as she didn't think they were cooked enough to her liking, i tried some and they were perfect, this person is just fussy and likes everything over cooked beyond salvation, she had lamb and steak the night before on the BBQ and wanted it cremated, in my opinion her steak was completely ruined the way she wanted it cooked and then she was commenting on everyone else's meat being under cooked because there was some pink in it.
Had a great time there, nice and laid back at Vincentia but i do think Husky is very busy now , was making the comment driving back how nice Jervis Bay is but you have to drive through the hole that is Nowra to get there.

Yes markets used to be better when in the park across from Angels but your right are very average. My wife actually like her for cooked to within a inch of its life but for me medium rare is the go .We call the Shoalhaven a dohnut . Husky Vincentia Berry , and such the cream around the outside AND NOWRA THE HOLE IN THE MIDDLE . Hopefully a bypass one day as the new bridge does bugger all . Our new place is 4500m2 3km out of toHusky so best of both worlds. Just need 18mths to build it .
