Sounds great. Bathurst, Cowra, Parkes, also in the Central West and towns close to my heart.

Was there a dozen years ago Horrie and loved it. We were surprised how big it was ! Enjoyed fossicking around Ophir reserve and exploring and old gold mine at Hill end . The red's from Canobolas Wines were exceptional .

We were there in April or May 2022, loved it, Loved the whites and reds from Phillip Shaw estate and also wines from Angullong estate at nearby Millthorpe .

The road up to the top of Mt Canobolas was closed when we were there as they were working on some of the communication tours so will go up to the summit for a look this time.

If we do go to Mudgee before hand or on the way back i want to call into Peter Van Gent wines as they do a lovely red called Sundance red that you chill, great BBQ wine or pizza and pasta.
