Thanks Horrie. It’s been a tough couple of years with health and mobility concerns right through my family but we always try to look on the bright side and also understand that there are other people who are far worse off than us.

Hope things look up for you guys.

Thanks mate, just got the call a second ago from the surgeon saying the surgery went well so i will be heading into St Vincents shortly once they are out of recovery.

Thanks MR and yes it is, i was already being ordered around when i got into hospital, put this away here , put that there etc, that's when i thought everything is ok , lol.
Rehab already started which was quick even if it was only a 50 metre walk down the hospital corridor with the physio.

I was really worried about the effects of the anaesthetic just being that bit much older now.

Haha..that’s good. Wow they don’t muck around with the physio do they! I would have thought a rest the first night.

The insurance claim came back today for the money lost on our cancelled trip and apart from a $300 policy excess we got every cent bank, so stoked.

Thanks MR, was expecting to get some back but the full amount we were totally stoked and that was unexpected. Would have flown back into Sydney this morning if the trip went ahead. Did say to the better half i want at least a year off now with out thinking about any major trips being planned again.

Thanks Horrie. Yep going well, not counting my annoying foot which is giving me grief and causing me to hobble along like I’m crippled. We’re in London now and had a very busy day today and last night. More busy days to come!

I’m looking into a trip to Japan in April next year.

Really looking forward to it.

Not being to fly anywhere ( long haul ) for a while have just booked a week up the mid north coast at Grassy Head for December, will add to it but have the main part booked now, will be good to be away just before Christmas and not working in the mad lead up.
