The road up to the top of Mt Canobolas was closed when we were there as they were working on some of the communication tours so will go up to the summit for a look this time.
If we do go to Mudgee before hand or on the way back i want to call into Peter Van Gent wines as they do a lovely red called Sundance red that you chill, great BBQ wine or pizza and pasta.

Heading to the southern highlands for the school holidays. Maybe I'll catch-up with old mate for a spliff and a talk about politics?
Not personally into the dakka but felt I might as well put it out there. Can imagine his grand acreage is quite the place to visit, with lotsa bushland and free thinking.Last edited by ism22; 04-09-2025, 06:48 PM.

Booked a night at Cuppitts winery down the south coast for better half's special birthday, will probably add on to it but have told friends who live in Ulladulla will be staying there a couple of nights also.
Russell Morris is doing a farewell tour and his Sydney concert at the Opera House clashes with the date we are away in Orange so looking at maybe going to Newcastle to see him, that would be a couple of days up the coast if we do.
