All this begs the question...what was all the rules for?
At hospital they told me it was inevitable that everyone will get it eventually .............so why did we cripple the economy with lockdowns? Why did I get all those vaccinations? Why is planet Earth blue?
You got all those vaccinations so that if you got Covid you would have a better chance of not getting it very badly and dying.
The vaccines worked! You didn't die.

We were blessed that Mum could get the War Widow's pension and health care with her gold card because of Dad's injuries contributing to his eventual passing. When I used to see the Legacy collectors in Martin Place or down at the ferry wharf, (usually young school children which was lovely to see) I'd makes sure they got a big donation from me.

I do like your planet earth is blue reference. I used to use that line in my old job as I worked with a sales executive who was a big David Bowie fan and every time he tried to circumnavigate compliance (yes fancy me being a compliance officer..) I would say to him that I am not going to break the rules for him and that planet earth is blue and there is nothing I can do. Then he'd retort with well we are all just sitting in a tin can anyway...
I hated being in hospital...............I was treated like a leper.
I just knew you'd get the Major Tom reference.

And I cant work out how I caught it..................the only time I went out in the previous week was when I went across the road to IGA for 10 minutes.

Good to hear you are on the mend Eddie.
The rules were to see how compliant people were Once they realised they had compliance They then pushed a dodgy vaccine on too many.
There are three major players in this. 1 The covid cult true believers covid pilgrims who believe everything and anything they are being told by big pharmas bitches aka govt.
Number 2 are the Covid heretics those who have thought for themself questioned the narrative throughout and did not bow to pressures from family friends strangers employers to take this so called vaccine which does not prevent infection does not prevent transmission and does not prevent death.
Number three were those who were coerced intro it Threatened with job loss being the major reason they buckled.
The amusing thing now is not only are some sectors scrapping mandates snd allowing those unvaccinated back to work, some whom were coerced are now finding they are expendable and being made redundant six months later.
Planet earth is blue but in this case there was something people could do or could have done It was called saying NO some stood up for themself and did just that in the process we’re subjected to segregation, losing their jobs and in some instances having friends snd family turn their back. But they stood solid in their beliefs Many of those got covid like myself snd at the end of it or even during it realised whilst they were sick it was pretty tame and nothing like the hype some were afraid of and some still remain fearful of.
Take your time to get well take it easy don’t rush things like I did by doing too much In my case it was deciding to tackle cyclone swells and body surf at a beach not long after I was better Got home slept 16 hours after that I’m sure it set me back a few days But you know what it was fun.

Are you saying it was all a government experiment in compliance?
A federal vs state money pit?

I don't know what to think after my experience this past fortnight.I even got sent to another town where the hospital still had a covid ward.

Not originally by design . But it turned into one.

Will leave the lounge room and kitchen for another time as we are thinking of putting in a new kitchen somewhere down the track and the lounge room is still in pretty good condition paint wise. Flipping up whether to paint it again ourselves or get some one in to do it, at least with just the two rooms being done plus a small part of the hall/bathroom it will be less disruptive, do want make the second bedroom which doubles up as computer room, library, general junk room into somewhere where we can dinner parties instead of tying up the lounge room.

There is some major works coming up on our unit blocks soon, the driveway is being dug up and new pipes being laid because all the pipes are in poor condition and after that all the balconies have to redone as they are cracking and crumbling, not looking forward to the chaos and disruption but it has to be done and at least there is enough money in the funds to get all the piping and driveway done and putting away extra for when the balconies are redone, ahh the joys of living in an older unit block.
Thats all sounds great Horrie. We just had our bathroom redone due to a leaky shower! We now need to paint the door and it's all complete. We may paint some of the other doors at the same time as well so they all look new. There are so many things I'd like to do to update our house but I need to keep saving. Like you, a new kitchen would be nice. I guess living in a unit block you have a body corporate, is that what they call it?

Thanks RWB. Luckily she just finished her semester exams and assesments. So technically she's just about to start her holidays. So I guess from her point of view that's not so lucky.

Sitting on the beach whilst reflecting how lucky my loved ones and my self managed to all get covid 19 at different times, not pass it on to one another, and not only survive this hideously deadly illness unvaccinated, but all be back to relatively good health within the week. It’s a miracle and this must be celebrated with a sing song
