I went to the shop today.................first time out of the house since the Tuesday before last.
Had to sit down for awhile being jealous of all these normal people who can walk around without getting buggered.

Like you, a new kitchen would be nice. I guess living in a unit block you have a body corporate, is that what they call it?
We put in a new bathroom either back in 2009 or 2010 and it still looks pretty schmick but in hindsight now i wish i had just put in a walk in shower, back then i still wanted to have a bath tub and used to love soaking in a nice bath but now i just prefer a nice shower, i think it would be a bit much now ripping the tub out for a walk in shower.. The kitchen is still very functional but a bit dated, i would get the plumbing redone so we could get a dish washer, we have the washing machine in the kitchen but its only hooked up to the cold water so a hot water tap for it would be good although i'm so used to washing in cold water and if anything needs a soak we do it in the bath tub.
Yep we have a body corporate fund but geez sometimes getting things done is like herding cats with some of the other owners, luckily there are only 8 units in the block but it needs some real TLC now, it was built in the late 60's or early 70's and not much has been done to it since then.

And I cant work out how I caught it..................the only time I went out in the previous week was when I went across the road to IGA for 10 minutes.
It is so different for everyone Eddie, i worked in retail for 2 years before catching it, staff at work went down like flies at various times but i still missed it until late March this year. My brother and sister in law plus my parents who live in the same house only got it a few weeks ago despite my brothers son bringing it home from school almost 4 months earlier, it is just so random.

Touch wood you will be fine MR, hope your daughter will be ok.

Oh MR. I'm glad she finished her exams and assessments prior. But yes I was thinking of leisure time for her. xxxx

              IGA is 'indoors'.
              Mask?
              Social distance?
              Omicron is very easily transmitted.
Someone breathes on you or you breathe the virus laden air is all it takes apparently.

I still won't go wandering around Coles even though it's just 3 doors up for me. I still prefer home delivery as I can plan my meals and stick to my budget and get a wider access to the gluten free products and if there is something I really need then I go at 7am on a Sunday only whilst pretty much everyone else is still asleep. I won't go into the side effects a lot of my friends and family are now experiencing as everyone is different and I am mindful of not upsetting people on here who are currently dealing with covid.

You were lucky...unvaccinated people are dying every day.
Vaccinated people are also dying every day.

There is nothing LOL about this at all. Golly I wish the ignore function would continue to work when someone is quoted. There were nearly 10,000 new cases yesterday..Thursday is the big day for numbers because people catch it over the weekend and don't realise until later in the week..

My block was built in the 1930's. don't speak to me about leaks...I can hear something dripping now as I type this even though the plumber came around last month. Next week I get the kitchen drawers fixed. Made him wait until later in the week as have had too many meetings this week and I know there will be noise..

We put new carpet in for one of our tenants a few months back in our investment units. I hope they picked a nice colour for them.

We don’t have a dishwasher either. Well we do - the other half. I do all the cooking so he gets to do all the washing up! I’m glad we don’t have to deal with body corporates as it sounds like a pain.

Our leaky shower leaked through the wall and into the hallway on the other side, rotting some floorboards. It was very annoying!

Oh MR. I am sorry to hear this. My hot water system burst in the ceiling and it collapsed the day my sister had her breast cancer surgery. This stuff is sent to try us..

It really amuses me how some think everything is about them and continue to cry the victim. Upon reflection it is quite sad really
