Seems our boys (and girls - thank heavens for equal opportunity to kill unarmed people) in blue have chalked another victim up on their scoreboard.
Don't know full story, but sounds like this poor dead guy was at worst guilty of stealing some biscuits, but was probably mentally ill. He was unarmed, not threatening anyone, witnesses say he was screaming for help.
What a bunch of heroes. That's our police force now. Mainly revenue collection from people they don't find too threatening (they don't touch the real crims, that might be too dangerous).
I don't think it helps that there are no longer height and size minimums for police officers. In old days, police were big and strong enough (and brave enough) to overpower a suspect physically without having to shoot them. Now we have little shorty guys (think South Park - "respect my authorityyyy") and dykes with chips on their shoulders.
