I'll be here forever as I watch one every weekend. I'll only post one a day.

I watched Backbeat during the 2020 lockdown:

Thanks for the tip Eddie and I've added that to my watch list. Kristen Scott Thomas is in it as John's Aunt Mimi. I really like that actress..going to watch The Doors one again too one day. Val Kilmer and Meg Ryan were in it from memory..

Nowhere Boy is great and I have it on DVD. As do I also have Backbeat, Bohemian Rhapsody and Rocketman. Rocketman was brilliant.

I also loved The Doors, Control and Walk The Line.

The Tina Turner movie, which I cannot remember the name of was also great.

There was also a wonderful movie about Brian Wilson - Love & Mercy.

I’m seeing Elvis soon, but have read it has mixed reviews.

I forgot about I’m Not There about Bob Dylan and Coal Miners Daughter. Also great. For a bit of classical, the biopic on Mozart ‘Amadeus’ was also interesting. It showed him in all his brilliant yet extremely eccentric glory!

Not great news about Elvis. I’ve read a few bad reviews but am still interested in seeing it. I’ve read that Tom Hanks is a real downer in it and it’s his worst ever acting performance.

I had that on my list to post MR. I was trying to only post one a day! I'm going to find the Mozart one and thank you..Cate Blanchett was in the Bob Dylan one too..playing him..

I couldn't get all the way through Rocket Man but the children were talented. I just found it very haunting so I gave away the DVD. Funny the mixed reviews regarding Elvis. Lisa Marie and Priscilla were very happy with it and Baz got a 10 minute standing ovations at Cannes..oh well..we all can make up our own minds..I always find his movies very long...

The Tina Turner one is called What's Love Got To Do With It and Angela Bassett played Tina. I am yet to watch it after all these years as the bit about her and Ike always upsets me. I watched Tina's actual documentary last year and she finally opened up about how she literally ran onto a freeway to get away from him...

I'd also like to see Respect, the Aretha Franklin one, and Ray about Ray Charles.

Blinded By The Light is fantastic too. It's not about Bruce himself but writer and director Sarfaz Manzoor and it's the story of his childhood growing up in the UK with a love for Bruce Springsteen. In real life, he's done some work with him and at the end of the film, there are some great photos of them together. A must for any Springsteen fan:
