I watched Get Back as soon as it was released! If you’re a serious, and I mean really serious Beatlemaniac that wants to know every minor detail on the band you will like it. I am a Beatlemaniac. I have multiple versions of all of their albums and singles, Mono, Stereo, remastered, US, UK, Giles Martin version etc etc. On vinyl and CD (even some old cassettes), multiple books and DVDs. The documentary is very slow so a passing fan will probably find it tedious. It literally shows hours of unedited recordings of the band in the studio trying to make an album. There are some brilliant bits in there which make it worth sitting through it all, but it won’t be for the casual fan. At times even I found it a bit tedious and wished they’d edited some stuff. One episode went for about 3 hours!

The Paul McCartney one will be good as it's in smaller episodes."Those who care about you can hear you, even when you are quiet" - Steve Maraboli

Thanks for the summary MR and I trust your judgement. Yes, I do now remember reading in one of my music magazines that it was very long. I do admit I get restless watching long films and would prefer they cut them down into episodes. I'll still give it a go though maybe in summer when it's too hot to go outside or next time we get heavy rain...which could be anytime these days..
The Paul McCartney one will be good as it's in smaller episodes.

You are welcome re the Paul McCartney series and I think I'll watch this soon too:
