More storms hit about 2:00-3:30am in the morning. I’m beginning to feel the effects now from interrupted sleep. This is very strange weather for February which is usually Canberra’s driest month.

While it was another pleasant but humid day in Sydney so spent a few more hours at the pool at Allianz stadium and as another swimmer there today said isn't it nice that school holidays are over so the place had returned to normal , i agreed wholeheartedly

An afternoon of crazy storms and hail. Not good for the poor fur boy who is recovering from an illness.

Beautiful day today, instead of heading to the Stadium pool felt like a dose of salt water so went to Malabar rock pool because i thought there wouldn't be to many people there and also its only a short walk from the car park to the water while i still have some swelling in my leg. Absolutely glorious.

We had more branches down last night, not as big as the first ones that came down but still enough to knock one of the clothes lines up the back out of the concrete foundations, its on a very interesting tilt now.
Hope your roof tiles held up with the wind.
Everything seems to be all good with the roof. Well not being experts on what the roof should look like it’s hard to be certain but there’s no missing tiles anyway. But with some of those gusts I was really worried it was going to do some serious damage. We had someone fix up the roof about 5 years ago too as apparently it needed some work with new ridge capping new sealant and some broken tiles needing replacing. There’s a huge mess in the front yard though with so much fallen bark and dropped limbs and debris from the gum trees. I don’t think it was quite as bad here as Sydney though from all the reports. Crazy that you’ve had more damage. You must be so over it by now! And yeah the BBL was a sellout too. What a disappointment for all those fans.

Hope you’re keeping safe tonight.

It was one of those days, hardly getting out at all yesterday just had to get out somewhere today, even though the wind was strong there wasn't any rain around so drove to Rockdale to seat covers for the new car. Ended up going out for a drink and have dinner out as there was still no sign of rain, managed to get home just as the rain was starting to set in. Wind is still wild and trying to watch the 5th set between Vucik and Draper at the Australian Open is almost impossible now with the wind pixelating the signal.
